God I hold no hope for the PS5 version at all. It's gonna be a disaster and a disappointment. Fuck them for chasing fidelity in an action game that doesn't really benefit, it's not like it's an Uncharted game ffs.

Pretty common for a very short time. |
Have to disagree. I just checked Crutchfield and they have 35 TVs at 60hz and 73 TVs at 120hz. 120hz common.

Has to be fake news. I was assured Japanese developers don't chase fidelity, Wilds looks identical to World and the S2 would run Wilds with ease.
Unless you are telling me our resident tech expert simply doesn't know what he is talking about??!??
Edit
Jokes aside, Wilds looks stunning. Day 1.
According to some people from a stream done by Capcom community managers for Monster Hunter Wilds, they were playing on base PS5 and it was playing 60 FPS with some drops.

Yeah put not for long. I was TV shopping in 2019, they were impossible to find. TV shopping again in 2022 and they were everywhere but for very expensive TV's. TV shopping again this year and they've reached down to midrange TV's with VRR still being what you'll get on Budget TV's. I fail to see that many people buying into 120fps TV's in that space of time. Surely they must count VR headsets as displays or something cause 25% does not match up, I wouldn't be surprised if 25% are still at 1080p.

Isn't it 25% of ps5 owners, not general TVs owners? I mean anyone who has a ps5 probably has a good interest in electronics.
There was a big Era thread about what TVs people had, and I was quite surprised how many had pretty modern TVs, mostly the LG C1/C2.
Sony pushed the X90J and similar as PS5 companions. The mid high tier Sony TVs have had 120Hz and VRR for the past 4 or so years.
I'm more curious about the difference between the VRR and the 120Hz attachment rates. I would expect a lot of overlap between the two.
And I would expect VRR to be more common. But maybe only TVs with 120 Hz VRR support are being counted there.

Why would it be surprising? The majority of users should be making a quite decent amount of money. Its usually the most active, well known and "loud" users on that site who usually complain about not having any money or low income.
The annual game room set up thread is a good example.
