You would have thought with a PS3 engine in place it would be easier to just do that, and Sony would be more than willing to make a sequel to a million selling game

HS2 is being made as we speak,,,However sony didn't want Ninja theory to be the developer,,,who knows why,,,maybe they spent more money than other studios and sony felt like they are not efficient enough to do another bussiness with them,,,,

I think HS2 is being developed by the same team as the god of war :COo developer(not same as GOW1,2).

cause they are working on a secret PS3 title.

Yeah, I also have the feeling Ready at Dawn is working on HS2. In the recent PSM magazine, there's rumor of Ready at Dawn working on a PS3 game, and the magazine also put some HS2 info. Ready at Dawn has made some good PSP games, so the PS3 game (whether it is HS2 or not) will be great as well.

Well then , the sequel might be better than the first one . R@D are far the most tallented PSP developers out there IMO , and they will be able to do a great job on the PS3 :)

Well this just goes to show that neither Microsoft or Sony have managed to create an environment strong enough to induce voluntary exclusives. But so far Microsoft have been far better with their moneyhats. Am I the only one that gets the feeling Sony may have blown the majority of their moneyhatting budget on MGS, FF and Haze?

I think it is more like both the 360 and PS3 are successful rather than both are doing badly. The install bases are getting closer and the software sold isn't much different now, so multiplatform makes a lot of sense.

These hack n' slash adventure games are reaching saturation point. Devil may cry, god of war, Hevenly sword, ninja gaiden, conan...and new games like viking and upcoming golden axe. Only Ninja Gaiden stands out as a game tat needs any strategy or skill... rest can be beaten by mashing the attack button.

So my guess is that Ninja Theory did not want to make Hevenly Sword 2 where Sony ran in the next day after the game was coming out and started screaming "sequel"!!! So they went their own route...

Why can't you people just say "Bribe" like everyone else?

If you had listened to a single word coming out of Ninja Theory, you'd know just how wrong you are about that.

I wonder why?

Heavenly Sword is a million seller.

That's weird.
Yes but it was a very terrible game. I don't know if 360 owners are privilaged or not with this.

A terrible game, eh? I guess that's why so many people want a sequel? How does that work again? Heavenly Sword may have been a bit short but it was superb and definitely deserving of a sequel.

I dare you to beat DMC1,3,or 4 on normal difficulty by mashing the attack button. Anyone whos beaten the game would tell you it's impossible, but maybe you found a way?

4 I beat in a weekend button mashing...3 was super hard and I stopped playing, 1 I can't remember...

In any case DMC series is really cool and i like it a lot but it doesn't force you to use much depth if you dont want to. Part 3 was bloody hard but it didn't require much skill...it was just...well hard. I found myself playing the first level 15 times...over and over until I powered up enough to beat the boss.
