Harris has caught back up to her previous lead after a dip down to a lesser lead before the debate.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

One of my big recent regrets was being in Georgia just a few days too late to see the Carters in their last public appearance in Plains. He is a national treasure. He said he wants to live long enough to cast a vote for Harris.

How are the odds of Carter outliving Trump and Biden?

Probably not a lot. Statistically speaking he has some 2 years of life left on average vs. around 8 for Biden and Trump.

On the other hand, Bush and Clinton should outlive the two most recent presidents.

As tough as he is, doubtful. I’m amazed he made it to 100. Rosalynn died almost a year ago, and they were very close and had been married for 77 years. People often don’t live long after a spouse passes.  He’s been ready to go. He’s on hospice and living with his grandkids. It would be a thing of wonder if he were alive to watch Harris’s inauguration.

Bush, Clinton, and Trump were all born in 1946. And they were born within a month and a half of each other.

One of these is not as healthy as the other two, though... granted, long-lived parents but also a familial history of dementia.
