Forums - Politics Discussion - 2024 US Presidential Election

It's so sad that reflection thing has been amplified by so many Aside from the actual scientific reasoning behind it, there is literally video evidence, I watched this shit live too. Trump is so fucking hurt by Harris's rally sizes, it's hilarious, it's all the dude seems to care about, his ego is so damn fragile, Lmao.

The next step in hurting Trump is to attack his business record. His entire name brand relies on the widespread belief that he is a great businessman, so just try to take that down. For example, this past quarter Truth Social incurred a $14m loss on a revenue of $800k. Trump also bankrupted his casino which might be the easiest target of all, because how bad does one have to be to bankrupt a casino.

As for Trump's low energy campaign, maybe part of it is that his daughter-in-law is now in charge of the RNC which means that a sizeable chunk of the campaign money can be easily diverted to Trump's rising lawyer costs. The guy has so many cases to deal with, so this doesn't come cheap and he's not going to use his own money when the money of fools sits there on a silver platter, ready to be taken.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Sometimes you're just so late to the party and everyone else already said what you were going to say, only so much better.

I'll just say that I will never cease to be amazed by people that treat a country's national debt like it's their own personal debt whenever the subject is about programs and policies they don't understand or don't think (the keyword is think; you MFers ain't rich) will benefit them. They act like mafia loan sharks will be beating down their own door if the president they didn't vote for doesn't pay up those trillions in 48 hours.

this skepticism isn't helping anybody.  If you care that little, and presumably think that caring only a little is a good thing, then there may be a gaming thread or something that's more of your style.

I'm more inclined to think that you had multiple tabs open and quoted me by accident, because I'm not sure that I follow you. You're welcome to explain to me what it is that I supposedly don't care about (the national debt?), and why it will apparently lead to civil war like I heard one Fox pundit proclaim yesterday, then explain why it wasn't a big deal when #45 raised the national debt by twice as much as #46 during their respective terms.

You don't explain why "think that caring only a little is a good thing", you don't bring any facts or stats to the table, you don't have anything to back up your post. I don't think that I'm the one that needs to stick to gaming threads here.

My wife and I visited Atlantic City in 2016. Far from being the Vegas of the East Coast, it looked like a dying rust belt town. We saw the Trump Taj Mahal, which was decrepit and seedy, and overall looked like a business in its dying days. A month later, it closed permanently, pending demolition.

We ate at a good steakhouse and saw Marven Gardens, which was a nice little housing division, but we probably should have gone to Maryland Live instead.

Foolish MAGA concern trolls: "B-B-B-But... Kamala Harris isn't who the Democratic voters want! It's NOT WHO THEY VOTED FOR!!! "

I still know people that think someone else is going to show up and become the actual nominee and 1 person that even believes Joe Biden himself is going to return at the DNC to reclaim the nomination.

Genuine question for Trump supporters.
What do you think when you see comments like these?

Simple physics like angle of reflection are ignorable to them in favor of blind, as it were, fealty to Trump.

To the privileged, equality feels like oppression.

Kamala should formally invite Trump to her next rally so he can see her crowd sizes with his own eyes ~_~

That would probably induce cardiac arrest.

It would certainly ensure that the cleaning staff at the hotel Trump was staying at would walk in to ketchup blobs everywhere and a dirty Depends or two splattered on the walls.

I wouldn't pay much mind to polls since we all know how they fared the last time around, especially at the statewide level. To some extent, it was likely incumbent advantage, the same as Obama overperforming in 2012, but still.

I'm just taking whatever Trafalgar Group puts out and adding ~ 3 points to the Democratic candidate. That seems to work the best, on average, for the past 4 election cycles.

"The Democratic National Convention will feature speeches by three presidents when the party gathers next week in Chicago to formally recognize Vice President Kamala Harris as its nominee.

President Biden, former President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was the party's nominee in 2016, are set to make remarks at next week's four-day event, according to a source familiar with the planning.

Mr. Biden and Hillary Clinton are expected to deliver speeches on Monday. Obama is planned for Tuesday and Bill Clinton on Wednesday.

Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is expected to officially accept the vice presidential nomination Wednesday night. Harris will take the stage on Thursday, the final night of the convention, to formally accept the presidential nomination."
