The fact that a $60 remaster of a 3DS title is competing with what is essentially Elden Ring 1.5 is a testament to this sites slant lol. (I voted for Luigi’s Mansion 2 btw…that’s the only LM game I never played. Wasn’t a fan of the 3DS’ small screen.)

To be frank though, the remaster also includes a copy of Monster Hunter Stories 2. That's a dual pack.

huh…Nintendo’s got a neat marketing strategy for LM2. Didn’t even know the game included MHS2.

Out of all that in the list?

Luigi's Mansion 2 followed by Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance.

MH Stories as my 3rd most.

What makes it different from Persona?

Ah damn, forgot about that one - that would be my third most anticipated one.

SMT doesn't start slow. No focus on the story with people you meet but on what happened and what will you do. You don't save the world. No changing someone's heart.  You decide to kill god, Satan, both or none. Create a new world or side with one of them. The only "bad" ending is taking no side at all. Your only party is demons. There aren't any social links. Calendars. Hanging out with anyone. You can kill gods like Odin, and Zeus and recruit them to fight for you. About the only things they have in common are the demons. Fusing demons and turn-based and even the latter SMTV's turn-based is different in some ways. Otherwise, SMT is quite different. They are typically pretty dark in tone and sometimes outright fucked up.
