Could Demon's Souls and GT7 come out this year perhaps?

Personally I'd find it surprising if Gran Turismo 7 didn't come out on PC as well, considering Sony's recent PC releases. Demon's Souls on the other hand... I'd really like to say it's coming too, but Bloodborne isn't out on PC either, so I guess I'll believe it when I see it and no sooner.

Of course with Sony's PSN account requirement nonsense, I won't be buying any new PC releases from Sony, so I guess I don't really care personally.

I really wonder what's taking so long for GT7 and especially DS. They were both in the Geforce Now leak so should come before much longer since they're the only ones left to be ported that aren't recent like Astro Bot and for GT7 that kinda has to come this year or else it could get too old due to its temporary nature.

I guess there's also the question of when they'll start bringing MLB The Show over considering that also comes to Xbox and Switch now but that just seems to be one of the various examples of sports games that are still skipping PC for whatever reason even though almost everything else comes to PC nowadays.

Bloodborne is a PS4 title - none of the PS4 only games are on Steam.

Everything on Steam are PS5 games that got ported - first party wise (not including second/third party).

Edit: Nvm :(

Shit nvm lol

The FromSoft games for some reason are treated weird I guess.

You would think Bloodborne would have gotten remaster or a sequel by now.

At least Demon's Souls got a remake.

I think there was a recent report about the head of FromSoft wanting to focus on other titles before getting back into Bloodborne.

Lol yeah, it seems like FromSoft does have some say in the games they originally made exclusively for PlayStation.

It was Yoshida that said he believes Miyazaki doesn't want others working on his games. The Demon's Soul's remake did have assistance from Japan Studio who also helped on Bloodborne's development. Now that Japan Studio is no more, and obviously Team Asobi is doing their own thing, I wonder if Miyazaki is iffy about other studios working on his games. Including ports.

It also could be the case that in a post-Elden Ring world, Sony and FromSoft may not think that porting Demon's Souls to PC will be worth the investment. Which wouldn't make any sense to me because Souls games are pretty massive on PC.

We know what Bluepoint has been doing for the past 4 years now and the past 2 years are now flushed down the drain. It honestly may just be lack of resources. Nixxes is putting in WORK in their PC ports (they're now at 9 games ported or fixed on PC) but other than that, there's been very few studios that Sony has used to port games to PC.
