31. Souls meets 3 kingdoms China, this entry however is closer to Sekiro than Dark Souls. There is more magic, and all the bosses have some magical vulnerability, and there are many different tools for fighting. To be honest this is a JRPG from 2023, this game was made from the magnificent developers who brought you Nioh, and now Rise of the Ronin will release in 2024.
30. Another JRPG from 2022, this game features dungeons within the main characters themselves. In fact by going into those main characters one can even revive them from the dead. While not part of the main series, the enemy monsters are shared like the Pixie, Jack Frost, and Asparas.
29. This JRPG is unlike others, because it is set on the streets of modern Tokyo. This game has a job system, much like the real job counterparts, the stats, abilities and costumes can vary. The main character of the entire series was changed for this entry but he got his game explaining his events released last month.
28. This 2015/2016 JRPG is from a media franchise that used to rival Pokemon. It featured a simple story and more than enough monsters to collect like the old ps1 games. Originally a ps vita game, it was quickly ported to PS4 and other consoles.
27. This JRPG is kind of a celebration of a certain JRPG series, the world is full of famous characters. This game is a return to turn based combat and a simple story. The World is called Grymoire.

Alright then, let's continue. First hints for the next batch;

#25: The original game in this series was named after the evil weapon, but this well-received sequel, and the series thereafter, was named after the good one. Guessed by Darashiva - SoulCalibur
#24: This game got two expansion packs, but the second one in reality doesn't actually have anything to do with the main theme and historical era of the main game.
#23: Features bosses that are named after musicians. Guessed by drbunnig - Super Mario Bros. 3
#22: In this game's predecessor, this unimportant side-character comments about how a certain item may make him "look a little tougher" when you give it to him. Who knew though that in this game, he'd become a lot tougher when he dons a similar, but much more powerful item.
#21: At first the designers of this game had a male protagonist in mind. But after they noticed it got a little too much like a certain famous spy-movie franchise they changed the protagonist to female. Guessed by drbunnig - The Operative: No One Lives Forever

#22 - this is a very clever hint! Majora’s Mask :)

Very much correct and thanks!

#24 Okami, the best Zelda game after Wind Waker.

31) Wo-Long: Fallen Dynasty

30) Soul Hackers 2?

All correct. You are pretty good at this JRPG quiz show.

I haven't played it or know anything about it, but the 'world' and 'f's in italics make me say World of Final Fantasy. Knowledge of JRPGs would be my gaming achilles heel but I at least know that exists.

That's right. Not many people, even JRPG fans know of this one, so heavy handed hints are best. Honestly might be a mistake in my list to be at #27 though.

Second hint for this one, the last of this batch to not have been guessed.

#24: This game got two expansion packs, but the second one in reality doesn't actually have anything to do with the main theme and historical era of the main game.
Hint 2: Though you could say this second expansion deals with the real-life predecessor of sorts of the main civilisation of the main game because that civilisation adapted a lot of their culture in reality.
