Alright, as the name says, I'm doing to do this tournament style. 10 games per day for 6 days. Day 7, the 10 most voted games will go head to head. This thread is just so I can generate a poll without disrupting the answers of the previous rounds. So please send any discussion over here. 

The games were compiled by a combination of the previously mentioned thread, and I also added in games that either sold well or were critically acclaimed. I did not choose which games go up against each other, I just entered them into a random list generator. So I take ownership of the games selected but not the order. Alternatively, if I have made any errors with the selection of games, please let me know and I will look into it. I also chose to list all of the games here just in case there were errors, so don't be shy to call them out or let me know if something shouldn't be in this list.

Went with Resident Evil.

What I am liking about these threads is I am going back and backfilling my 3DS collection with titles I missed out on.

Hard to choose between Dragon Quest 8 and RE Revelations. DQ is probably the best game on an objective level, but it's a port, while RE Revelations did so much for the 3DS as a system, showed how console-quality and handheld-friendly design can coexist in a way that foreshadowed the Switch, and showed that Resident Evil was still relevant despite the dud of RE6.

Ended up going with RE.

Resident Evil: Revelations. Awesome game, with just the right amount of action versus horror. Also looked great on the 3DS.

Dragon Quest VIII easily.

Just beat it last month on my 3DS actually.

Closest to a 10 out of 10.
