Thank you very much, @trunkswd!

Europe continues to produce very good numbers for the PS5, especially compared to PS4 in the same time in 2016.

The PS5 should possibly sit somewhere between 1.3mil to 1.5mil in worldwide sales for August. And it has now already reached an astonishing 4:1 ratio compared to Xbox Series, increasing the 3.7:1 ratio from July.

And it is a safe bet PS5 is only going on to produce bigger numbers for the rest of 2023. Congrats.

PS5 is really ramping up (its peak will probably be 2024), and Switch continues to sell spectacularly considering its age and lack of price cuts (but there are bundles on the way).
Xbox is being beaten even by Switch in Europe and obviously Japan. Xbox still has a lot of time to sell if Microsoft sticks to a 2028 release date for the next-gen Xbox.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

Switch: 161 million (was 73 million, then 96 million, then 113 million, then 125 million, then 144 million, then 151 million, then 156 million)

PS5: 115 million (was 105 million) Xbox Series S/X: 48 million (was 60 million, then 67 million, then 57 million)

PS4: 120 mil (was 100 then 130 million, then 122 million) Xbox One: 51 mil (was 50 then 55 mil)

3DS: 75.5 mil (was 73, then 77 million)
