I see two possibilities (though one wouldn't cancel the other out):

-DS: Because retro revivals/old-school sidescrollers have done phenomenally on that system.  See: New Super Mario Bros, Contra IV, Kirby, any number of old PC games.

-Wii: Well... this one I'm just HOPING for, although I would prefer it in 3D on Wii.  The reason?  Not just the IR aiming, but who wouldn't love jerking the Wii-mote around to make good ol' Jimmy grab his head and crack himself like a whip at an enemy's face??

 

I'm not being biased here, I really do think these systems have the best chance, especially considering the VC thing.

 

Also, it's amazing that they're making a new cartoon (I loved the old one), buy a MOVIE, TOO!!!!!!!!

Cool. I've yet to play the first for genesis but I always thought it looked good so whenever this comes out i'll give it a try. Interplay should release Boogerman 2 as well.

The VC releases are darn good..

 not bias I also think it's the two best console for the game.... even though if it's good i'd like to have it on 360

DS makes the most sense, but I could see Wii as well. I am really excited. I know Earthworm Jim hasn't been good since the SNES and Genesis, but it was just so awesome back then.
