Yes and no. AI may be used things like facial recognition. But the only people who may be targeted are cataegories of people such as criminals or card counters that venture into a casino. I think that a bigger problem is that it makes people intellectually lazy, as all your questions are answered on google or chat gpt. It removes the need for critical thinking, and turns us into boring slobs.

So, please resist using chat gpt as much as you can. Go outside, or read a book whenever you can.

Around the Network

AI is a dream come true for the surveillance state. Automated facial recognition tied into CCTV cameras everywhere. No need to implant people with chips, AI will only get better at identifying people in many different ways, voice, gait, posture. Next to using AI to check everyone's social footprint and assign a threat level, just like Lavender AI selects targets in Gaza. So far Lavender AI has killed or injured over 50,000 children in Gaza.

And evidence will become useless with deep fakes getting better all the time. It will be easier than ever to 'plant' evidence. Video / voice recording evidence will be less reliable than eye witness accounts.

It's really the people that use AI who can't be trusted, rather than AI taking over the world. And it's the people that can't be trusted who have the funds to invest in and direct AI. Does anyone trust anything good will come out of this...

Saudi Arabian DataVolt is moving forward with plans to invest $20 billion in AI data centers and energy infrastructure in the United States.

Imagine the German Stasi having had AI as a tool...

Indeed. With AI the internet also can't be trusted anymore (for so far it could be trusted). For humans it might be impossible to change all the information on the web, AI will soon be able to if not already. AI can literally rewrite history on the web.

Are there any AI trainers, or other professionals here? What do you do and where do you work?
