AI is a dream come true for the surveillance state. Automated facial recognition tied into CCTV cameras everywhere. No need to implant people with chips, AI will only get better at identifying people in many different ways, voice, gait, posture. Next to using AI to check everyone's social footprint and assign a threat level, just like Lavender AI selects targets in Gaza. So far Lavender AI has killed or injured over 50,000 children in Gaza.

And evidence will become useless with deep fakes getting better all the time. It will be easier than ever to 'plant' evidence. Video / voice recording evidence will be less reliable than eye witness accounts.

It's really the people that use AI who can't be trusted, rather than AI taking over the world. And it's the people that can't be trusted who have the funds to invest in and direct AI. Does anyone trust anything good will come out of this...
