Forums - Sales - Famitsu Sales: Week 25, 2023 (Jun 12 - Jun 18)

Xbox Series just sold about 20% of it's YTD sales in one week.
Switch still in beast mode. And where on Earth are they still getting 3DS units from when it was discontinued in 2020 haha

"We just sold out of Switch hardware.  Hey what's this that got shoved all the way to the back of the shelf?  It's a 3DS!  I wonder if anyone will still buy it...."

I mean they apparently still have thousands of Ps4s, despite being a much less popular console than 3Ds. I wouldn't take the small numbers too seriously.

Final Fantasy XVI is definitely gonna claim number 1 next week, ending TOTK winning streak of 6 weeks. For context, the last big winning streak a game had was Pokemon S/V with 8 weeks.

1) Wait Tbones ?! I didn't realized you were back 👀

2) Yeah goes to say that FF XVI will prolly take the top spot for the next 2 weeks at least

This is not Tbone, the guy with the crazy predictions.

Street Fighter 6 has had some very solid holds in it's second and third week.

Switch pumping out those 80k weeks like its not in its 7th year!
PS5 and Xbox both doing surprisingly well. Though I suppose Final Fantasy about to release could be why PS5 is going back up now.

Love seeing BotW competing for top ten 6+ years after launch, thanks to TotK creating a surge of interest in the original.

This weeks numbers are over 100k again, insane. What is happening...

The direct gave the Switch a boost.

Could be very likely, but it was already way up there. The way it's been selling since the Mario Movie and Zelda released was crazy enough. I expected 2D Mario to make a big splash, not for it to start so soon.
