Forums - Nintendo - FFCC: My Life as a King - new downloads detailed

Oh. OK then.

I've been getting the feeling that most people that are ok with DLC have a problem with SE's DLC.

Former something....

This was probably inspired by how well the DLC for Idolmaster sold in Japan, and that was a freakin' 360 game.

I dunno why people are all up in arms... Buy the game itself, straight up.

Once you've made it through - then decide if you want to buy the extra content to further your play of it.

It's not like any of the DLC is mandatory.

It's this way of looking at it I don't like.  People are slowing buying into the mentality that DLC is extra when really it's not.  It's part of the final product that's subtracted out to make you pay more.

As DLC becomes more prevelent, gamers will slowly but steadily start gaining less "game" for their money...

It makes me sad that people are okay with this.

@WoW

I do see your point about it being somewhat underhanded.

If you consider the "bikini" add-on, it probably took the combined efforts of 2 people a total of 2-3 days to put that together... combined salary of maybe a few hundred dollars.

At a buck per sale - they stand to make at least 10 000% return on that investement when in the past, it would have just been a secret prize you would have found somewhere in the game.

While I agree with WoW in general, I think for me it mainly depends on how long it takes for the DLC to come out. If it comes out really quickly then I can't help but think that it should've been included in the game to begin with, but I don't think that for all DLC

...

I'm actually "ok" with this DLC..in so far as I can be ok with it.

I loath DLC but this isn't too bad honestly. I'm kind of confused why people think this is so horrible in particular...other DLC has been much worse.

You're playing the king, and if you want your adviser to be a cosplay idol, then it's good to be the king.

Glad to see a returning FF character (Tifa's chest)

Have to see it in motion, just to be sure.
