And eventually we'll be back to VOD as it was with cable/sattelite. More and more streaming services combining until there are only a couple giants left. Except now we can pay extra to skip commercials instead of DVR everything and ffwd through commercials.

Streaming as a whole has always laid on more or less shoddy economic foundations I feel.
If there are issues even in music despite low bandwidth requirements and production costs, one can just imagine TV or cinema, let alone more processing-heavy services like gaming or consumer NLP...
