I downloaded the FFXVI Demo last night.

I'll try it out later tonight.

In the mean time, gonna play some more of KH BBS.

I did play another hour of DMC4 SE - reached Mission 11 - doing both human mode and devil hunter mode which is why its taking me so long. With the proud souls and blood orbs - I'm trying to unlock all skills.

A week ago, on Driveclub I collected a ultra rare trophy that I thought I wouldnt get - guess that is what happens when you play each race with all the cars lol. Too bad the mileage Club trophy is no longer obtainable, I would have gotten that LOOONG time ago but the servers are permanently down.

Okay, so I played through the demo for Final Fantasy XVI - both the main demo and the Eikonic challenge.

Took me a good 3 hours to finish all of it.


Have to say, this game is shaping up to be one of my most favorite games in the series at least from what I played so far.

Great story/lore and great cast of characters so far - great voice acting and music.

The gameplay didnt feel like Devil May Cry, I think people are just basing it upon how it looks like - to me it felt more like a faster paced version of FFXII's battle system with a bit more freedom in movement and speed.

All in all - I've enjoyed the combat.

I played through 3 hours without realizing how much time passed so I can easily say I highly enjoyed it.

One thing that I did find odd was the option to add a audio visualizer....such a odd option, like Windows Media Player audio visualizer whenever someone talks - like who asked for this? Thankfully you can turn it off.

Oh btw, I chose to play Performance (FPS) over Quality (Graphics) because I dont mind 1080p - and that I plan to play in full 4k 60 when the game eventually releases on PC.

So I'll end up buying the PS5 version and playing it on performance instead.

Also the GoT inspiration for the story and themes - they took it inspiration to the next level and as a fan of GoT - I love it lol

Now I want Square Enix to make a Game of Thrones game....

I also played Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep again - finished current run of Enchanted Domain. Reached Lv 8 and grinded a bit to master some skills/abilities. Ready for Castle of Dreams.

Finished a few PS5 games this month.

Neptunia: Sisters Vs Sisters: Nice to see combat overhauled as well as the graphics as well. Combat definitely felt very clunky, Nepgear not strong enough to lead as a protag, and spinoffs need new life into them aka a main line game.

Sackboy Adventure: Probably my fave LBP like game, surprised me a lot overall with the gameplay and fun levels.

Miles Morales: Short little expansion. Gameplay was pretty cool, just like the first but with venom powers. No forced stealth outside of side content where you have to use it. Enjoyed the chase sequence and the rhino mall level as well to spice things up.

Started Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart --> One of, if not the most beautiful platform games I've seen so far, opening level was stunning.

FF16 demo was great. Didn't really notice too many slowdowns, and i was playing on performance mode. 

Very cutscene heavy, but I'm guessing that's just the starting feel to get the story rolling. However, I did hear it was very cutscene heavy. Cinematic battles were very fun as well. Combat overall seemed very enjoyable too, want to definitely either play it again, or try that other mode upon completion of the demo. 

Story seemed very interesting to me, probably one of the best things going. Never watched GoT, but that's what I keep hearing. Scenes very unpleasant with a very sensitive nature which really give a sense of darkness to the world as well. 

The way the demo ended setting right up for the pre order page was a nice touch too. Made me actually want to pre order then and there. But I remembered I already pre ordered the steelbook edition.  

Damn, when they add the FFXVI OST to Apple Music, gonna make a playlist asap.

Been listening to the "Final Fantasy Main theme" (FFXVI Menu theme) this morning. Cant believe there's a version of the main theme that is better (or as good) as the Crystaline Chill from FFXV.

Love it!

FF16 summons are sick, but nothing I see about the game makes me want to play it.
I guess I'll look up some early playthroughs to see how does it starts, but right now I've 0 hype for it.

I guess you dont like story heavy games...

Here I am on the edge - of whether I should just drop everything else I have playing and pre-order the game and get it or wait till its cheaper lol.

I do, but I hardly get interested on a game just because of its story, which I won't even fully know until I've had played it (won't be getting spoilers).

You try the demo? I like the gameplay too.

I remember playing FF15 demo and not feelint compeled to get the game either, back in the day, and I was actually hyped for that game, lo.
