Gave it a go, I think gameplay wise it feels fun enough. Performance mode seems to run well. It's very flashly, and I actually enjoy how neat it looks when you perfect dodge/ parry an attack: they have done a good job making everything look like it has momentum.
But at the same time, it also feelsl ike the sort of game which is going to require some level of skill to pull off. And I'm not saying I'm not up to the task, I'm jut not sure I'm willing to be haha. But I'll look out for more impressions etc.
It seems fun.

More predictions:
PS6 handheld will launch at $500 (dock sold separately).
PS6 home console digital at $600 (disc edition at $700).
PS6 handheld may get a "Vita TV" edition, but maybe not at launch. $400.
I don't know if the handheld and home console will launch simultaneously, seems like it though.
PS5 may finally get a $50-$100 "pricecut" 6-12 months before PS6 is launched. And Sony will continue to produce a lot of PS5's, unless the new "Vita TV" (branded as "PS6 Core" or whatever) is a day 1 device.

Final game if you die enough times it gives you items to make it easier.

I wasn't expecting Lost Soul to sell millions but the poor embrace from the chinese market after all the exposure the game had in China for years tells a lot. It's starting to make sense why they didn't pay any marketing in this side of the world lol.
Personally I'm still interested but I don't have money right now lol, I'll get it later so I'm not going to watch gameplays nor read reviews.

it's released at least 5 years too late. Nevertheless, it's good the director and his team got the game out finally. I hope for good things with their next work.
A shame Lost Soul Aside bombed. Out of all the anticipated Chinese/Korean games, it was one of the least impressive to me. The story direction seemed cringe, graphics weird, some animations goofy af, but the worst part to me was the particle effects abundance lol, I'm shocked they didn't dial that down..
I really wanted it to be good, and hope some fans are enjoying the game for what it is. But I don't think the studio is going to survive this...
The real big Chinese single player game to look for is Phantom Blade Zero. I have some gripes with it, but its potential is huge. Expecting high 80's score and 10 million+ sales.

What an insane story, how LSA was made. It's not as simple as 10 years to make, as that's not really true. It's a concept 10 years in the making but the game did not take 10 years to develop. I have been enjoying it. The combat is great. I got to a wide open area. Not an open world, but a wide open field. The game is pretty. Well animated. music is fantastic. Not sure where the hate for the English VA comes from. It's fine. It's servicable. The VA was worse in Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth and people gave that a pass. So far, I give it a 7.5/10

It pretty much looked likely to bomb to me, so I'm not surprised.
Dunno if the game is any good but it was definitely not looking good at all in the last trailers.
Looked meh, bland all over. It may have had a chance if it was an early PS4 game, but it really took far too long for it to be released.
I kid you not, Concord looked more interesting than it.

Combat did look good which to many gamers is the bread and butter of the genre. For a game made by a small and inexperienced team, it does seem impressive, just not on the level of many other games from the region.
I feel bad for the devs.
