A shame Lost Soul Aside bombed. Out of all the anticipated Chinese/Korean games, it was one of the least impressive to me. The real big Chinese single player game to look for is Phantom Blade Zero. I have some gripes with it, but its potential is huge. Expecting high 80's score and 10 million+ sales. |
It pretty much looked likely to bomb to me, so I'm not surprised. Dunno if the game is any good but it was definitely not looking good at all in the last trailers. Looked meh, bland all over. It may have had a chance if it was an early PS4 game, but it really took far too long for it to be released. I kid you not, Concord looked more interesting than it. |
Combat did look good which to many gamers is the bread and butter of the genre. For a game made by a small and inexperienced team, it does seem impressive, just not on the level of many other games from the region.
I feel bad for the devs.
