I hope Marathon looks fun tomorrow. I love some of the art we've seen.

As I'm not into Bungie games can someone tell me what are the expectations for Marathan? Another shooter?

Anyway. Anyone else excited for Lost Soul Aside? FF16 sucks and FF15 sucks but LSA seems to be what those games failed at. An ARPG with legit DMC like combat that has depth.

Extraction Shooter. Biggest game in the genre would probably be Escape from Tarkov. It’s a very PC centric genre, but that leaves the console space ripe for the taking.

There is a LOT of Destiny influence in the gameplay here lol. Overwhelmingly so.

Looks pretty good though!

I wish they kept character creation for the game instead of heroes (runners) though

Like how MOBA’s were evolutions of RTS games, Extraction Shooters are the evolution Battle Royales.

Multiple teams on a huge map. But rather than just kill all the other teams (which is still important) you’re primarily supposed to complete objectives. Like you would in Helldivers 2 for example. Then once all objectives are completed, you have to get an LZ for extraction. Also like you would in Helldivers 2 lol. And of course continue to get better and better gear as the match continues.

It’s not just other players though. There’s also NPCs that are out to kill you too. 

NGL, the first trailer didn't really do anything for me.

But with the additional overview, and some uncut gameplay, Marathon is looking better after every showing.

Full priced game. Same day as Borderlands 4. lol it's Concord 2: Electric Boogaloo
