It looks like People Can Fly is working on a PlayStation IP codenamed Project Delta.

I like their work. I platinum-ed Bulletstorm and Outriders when it hit PS Plus. They especialice in shooters so the relevant IPs that come to mind are:

-Killzone

-Resistance

-SOCOM

-MAG

-Syphon Filter

I include SP because it was basically a 90's Jean-Claude Van Damme movie so if it ever gets a remake I think it should be unserious like Bulletstorm lol.

Would love if Resistance came back.

At least as a collection if not a new game.

Jason Blundell confirms his new studio under Sony is codenamed Dark Outlaw Games.

I wonder why Sony hasn't officially revealed it.

in the interview Blundell said he didn't want a big announcement and that is about the game and not the studio right? So I think it's because of that. If there is nothing to show there is no point in talking about it BUT last year Drunkman (Drukmann) made two interviews before the Intergalactic reveal so maaaaaybe we are close.

Last year before knowing the Blundell studio was in LA there was a report that they were working with Bungie (Dark Outlaw as the primary studio and Bungie as de back up studio) to work in a project that was in development at Bungie. 6 projects at the same time at Bungie when Sony bought them no wonder they imploded but there is a lot of possible value there.

Just beat a boss midway through FFX on PS4 and died because there wasn't a save point. Some of the design choices in this game baffle me.
I suppose if I looked up a guide, I would've potentially saved 45 minutes or so of time, but I don't tend to like looking up stuff constantly.

There's a point in the game where you are stuck on an airship and have to defeat the boss in order to get out of it.

If you save in the airship during this scenario and die to the boss, well you are stuck with no way to grind.

I remember when I first played FFX on the PS2 years ago, this happened to me and I had to restart the game from the beginning.

There's no way to grind once you are in that scenario so you gotta grind before you start the scenario.

Picked up Returnal on the Steam Spring sale as it looked intriguing enough, but I've never been into roguelikes outside of something like Hades. I must say though, I needed to have picked this up on day 1! Just the opening cinematic moments felt like this epic sci-fi story. The UI is slick, the sound is INCREDIBLE, and graphically the game is gorgeous! After finishing my new rig, I was getting upwards of 120-150fps, and it just felt so buttery smooth.

But that gameplay loop feels so good to play! The weapon variety feels good to mix and match, and the jump/dash ability is very satisfying to use while in combat. Story is more captivating than I was anticipating but that gameplay loop keeps me coming back. Really looking forward to Saros now!
