Yeah, so many IPs that Sony has, shame that they wont work on at least half of them :(

I think it may be more than half lol. But yeah I've given up hope on Sony franchises I would LOVE to see make a triumphant return like SOCOM, Colony Wars, Resistance, Wipeout, Twisted Metal, Sly Cooper, LocoRoco, or Patapon, but they unfortunately were all made by studios that have either been closed or are now dedicated on other franchises/series

No I mean, at least half of all the IPs that are frozen is what I meant lol.
Hell, even 1 or 2 of them at least :(
Or at least outsource them.
Gonna be honest, I'm indifferent to Sony going back to unused IP. If they aren't using it I can only assume because no one cares to work on it.
Dev times are increasing so much that I imagine studios need to be really passionate about deciding to work on an unused IP. Just makes more sense for them to explore their own or newer ones that are in vogue.
But I do suppose a new Puppeteer would be swell.

It's more Sony abandoned some of them to chase market trends. Which gave us such successes as Concord

Care to elaborate on how and why they abandoned IP to follow market trends with new IP?

Well obviously, Firewalk was working on Killzone 4, before Jim Ryan forced them to cancel it and develop Concord! And now they're 100B in the hole. That's what Sony gets for pursuing live service games.
No gameplay shown, but he still confirmed it as an extraction shooter, and does show a couple images of the games classes (aka Runners) one was codenamed Thief and the other Stealth. He further confirmed there will be more playtests in 2025, but did not go as far to say that it will release in 2025.
Game can now be wishlisted on all platforms.
My Sonic x Shadow Generations should finally ship tomorrow, nobody playing the game around here?
