All I can say at this point when leftists have been labeling the tamest of people of all, like Charlie Kirk, as Nazis and fascists, I cannot wait till the most of the right starts agreeing with them. Leftists have watered this down to the point where it means absolutely fucking nothing. Congratulations.

Left this, right that, at the end of the day all you are doing is exactly what has been done before.  Picking a side and then going about the blame game.  Someone killed Charlie Kirk because they did not like him just like someone kills someone ever day of the week because they do not like someone.  Someone will die everyday because someone doesn't like someone and it really have nothing to do with left or right BS.  In America, we solve problems with guns and we will continue to solve problems with guns because that is the culture of this nation.  For a person who himself promoted hate, you seem to be ignoring that he put that target on his back but somehow its the left calling him names that is the issue.  The issue is that someone had access to a high powered sniper rifle and was able to use that to kill someone while you wring your hands on finding a way to blame the left, ignore the right and ignore Charlie Kirk own words that put him in the sights of someone who disagreed with him to the point where they felt to put him in the grave.

Probably wasting your time, that user tends to make a couple angry posts every few months then vanishes for a few months, ignores all of Trump's shit over those few months, then only pops back in when they can make another desperate attack against the left, then vanishes again. Charlie Kirk was not tame, and it wasn't a simple "difference of opinion" like disagreeing with a Conservative over economics and while I maybe wouldn't call him a Nazi, he was still a disgusting person who demonised trans people, gay people, showed no sympathy for other victims of shootings and spoke shit about them, attack MLK and Civil Rights, and supported Israel's Genocidal Regime so fuck him. Getting mad about people faking empathy when Kirk himself said it's a mad up word, Lol.

Don't recall this user being this mad when a right winger killed a Democrat earlier this year or even showing their face. At least he didn't forget the registered Republican who tried to assassinate Trump though so I'll give him credit for that one. The single truest thing out of all of this is America has a major gun problem and people shouldn't be so easily capable of acquiring rifles they can fire from 200 yards away, Lol. But nothing will change and more gun violence will come because America is inherently a violent country.

We should be talking about the school shooting instead of a shitty podcaster.

Around the Network

All but two Republican senators — Josh Hawley of Missouri and Rand Paul of Kentucky — blocked consideration of Mr. Schumer’s measure, which would have required the Justice Department to fully and quickly release its material related to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in federal prison in 2019.

The Senate voted 51 to 49 to table it.

Republicans Block Schumer’s Effort to Force Vote on Epstein Files - The New York Times

This went under the radar given the events of yesterday but Tucker Carlson will probably only be in the news for about a week and everyone will move on again like the 20,000 shootings before him, Lol. Nothing will be done about gun control of course, and people are barely acknowledging the school shooting right now either, it's just normal for America.

Every Democrat voted in favour, plus both Independents and 2 Republicans. For how much people say the Democrats are involved, it sure seems Democrats are happy to release the files and if Clinton is involved, are more than happy to throw him under the bus, as they should, because nobody gives a fuck about Clinton and will be happy to see him behind bars if it turns out he is a pedo. Clinton and Trump.

Which one...

https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting

https://everytownresearch.org/maps/gunfire-on-school-grounds/

In 2025 there were at least 98 incidents of gunfire on school grounds, resulting in 31 deaths and 96 injuries nationally.

Not updated with the latest one yet.

Evergreen High School shooter dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound
https://www.cpr.org/2025/09/10/evergreen-high-school-shooting/

To call it as it is, (attempted) murder + suicide.

The student who opened fire Wednesday at Evergreen High School, injuring two other students, died Wednesday night of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said. One student remained in critical condition, according to doctors, while another had non-life-threatening injuries. The sheriff said the shooter was a 16-year-old male.

‘Colorado has lived through this pain too many times’

The Jefferson County Education Association, a teachers union in the district, said in a statement that every time a school shooting happens, it retraumatizes the community that lived through the Columbine shooting in 1999.

“Colorado has lived through this pain too many times. We cannot become numb. We cannot accept this as normal. We demand that our leaders at every level — local, state, and national — take real, meaningful action to end the epidemic of gun violence in our schools,” the association’s leaders said in a statement.

16 year old kids should not have access to guns. The parents are punished enough by his death, not something you ever get over, yet the blame likely lies there as much as the school not noticing trouble brewing.

Gun laws work, there were 5 school shootings in all of Europe in 2024

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41488081
For each of the last four years there have been more than 600 mass shootings - almost two a day on average.

As for Kirk's death, that only makes things worse. Assassinations only radicalize people and gives ammo to left/right nonsense.

Again it comes mostly down to lobbying. While most Americans seem to favor stricter gun laws (57%) the opposite happens since the gun lobby spends a lot more than gun control groups.

Nah. The left loves to justify violence whenever they can. Even influencers on your own isle can't even stand each other over the slightest disagreement and would resort to sending someone death threats or even have the goverment take away their kids. Keep staying in denial.

If you really think Charlie wasn't tame. Then you truly are delusional.

The Hateful People Can't Stand Being Called Hateful. : r/BlackPeopleTwitter

100%.

The news media in America is a joke nowadays, free media in America is dead, it is devolving into Russian State TV, half are terrified of upsetting the current admin and the other half support them in everything they do. Free speech only applies to Republicans but when the left do it the centrist and Republicans lose their minds and accuse the left of being monsters, get them fired from their jobs for the most harmless comments which are a completely accurate assessment on the situation, they're a bunch of hypocrites.

I'll say again it was only a few months ago when a Democrat was assassinated by a Republican and that left the news cycle incredibly fast, Republicans desperately tried to blame the Left, hardly anyone corrected them on it, they avoided all accountability and there was nowhere near as much pearl clutching as there was about Kirk being shot dead, and this Democrat was a saint compared to the horrific shit Kirk has said. Some people only pop up for violence against the right but conveniently ignore all the violence against the left.

Was there a thread even made here about the Democrat who was assassinated in their own home? I can't recall the same energy for that as there is for this. I can't remember this US Politics thread really gathering that much more activity than usual, a lot of the people who are outraged about this didn't show their face for that. Or Kirk praising the guy who bashed Pelosi's husbands skull in.

Maybe promoting violence isn't a left or right thing in the US but a US thing in general.

As for Charlie, who cares if he was tame or not.  It really has no real reference in the US.  People kill people in the US at the drop of a dime so why would Charlie be any different.  You continue to want to make it a political thing but in reality its just an American thing.  Americans solve issues with guns.  Charlie painted a sign on his back, someone decided to take the offer.

The majority here haven't justified the violence at all, they simply stated they don't really care that he is dead and understood how events led to it. But I understand why you wouldn't be aware of that since you pop your head into the site once every few months now just to make pathetic desperate attempts to bash the left and then leave again when you get challenged.

How ironic to say the left loves to justify violence when Kirk himself labelled the man who bashed Pelosi's husbands head in as a Patriot. When Kirk himself said trans people should be "dealt with" like men did "in the 50s and 60s". Or when he justified shootings as a necessary sacrifice to keep the second amendment. When called the stoning verse of gay people in the bible as, “God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.” Or how about his blind defence of Israel's genocide on Palestine? Do we suddenly not care about that anymore?

Personally, I don't give a fuck about some Twitch influencers arguing amongst each other.

Donald Trump justified the violent capitol attack on Jan 6th. Donald Trump's son openly mocked Pelosi's husband skull being bashed in. Trump posted a Truth Social posts about going to war with Democrat Cities and is sending his ICE thugs in to abuse regular citizens. Mike Pence was threatened with hanging by Trump's deranged fanbase for not illegally overturning an election.

Absolute head in sand to not see how MAGA has basically attacked every single person over the years who doesn't conform to their views, that includes Republicans too, there are multiple Republicans who now only speak out against Trump after they've decided to retire because they're terrified of his psychotic fanbase. How many Republicans have been attacked and called Rhinos just because they didn't kiss Trump's ass? Conservative doesn't exist in the Republican Party anymore, it's the MAGA/Trump Party.

Where were you when the Democrat was assassinated?

And Charlie wasn't tame, you can read countless of his opinions posted across this thread to see that, if you think Kirk was tame then it says a lot more about you than it does about Maciavellian's "delusion" Kirk was a bigot who defended Israel's genocide, fought against women's rights, is openly Islamophobic, said the civil rights act was a mistake, said that empathy is a made up word, etc. So what does that say about you that you think his opinions are tame? And that's only half of the shit he has said but I'm sick of repeating it.

Kirk wouldn't have gave a shit if you was shot dead, he would have no empathy for you, your death would be a necessary sacrifice in his eyes for his glorious 2nd amendment so why do you bother having empathy for him?

Bro. Now is not the time to talk about gun violence in America. Please stop talking about gun violence in America. Maybe it will be the time to talk about gun violence in America when it happens for the 20,000th time. For now we will Thoughts and Prayers Kirk. PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT GUN VIOLENCE IN AMERICA.

Nothing will ever change, because nothing will ever be done about guns, humanity is full with violent people, America likes to stick guns into their hands. We're crying over a podcaster/debater being shot dead more than the hundredth school shooting, and that's so we can turn it into a left-right debate, says it all really. Americans will continue shooting each other until the end of time.

But I bet even this Kirk rage will fade within about 1-2 weeks and America will move on, Lol. Until the next shooting.

Here are some things that Charlie Kirk said in his life.

The man is dead, and so it only seems fair to share his legacy by cataloguing the values he spread while alive.

Guns are a part of America as much as apple pie.  The US will never get rid of their guns and we will continue to see increase in gun violence because access to guns is as easy as walking to your corner store for beer.  Just the other day, I read a news article about a 13 year old kid who had a gun arsenal that would have made a military vet cry a tear of envy.  You are right, this will blow over just like all the other school shootings and deaths.  Most of those stories do not even make it to the front page anymore as its becoming as common as the mail man.

Than again as long as we have people like Iron who is willing to give us his false concerns about Kirk but hasn't shone an once for any other tragic event we can feel safe that guns in America will always be the main theme to solve issues.
