The Hateful People Can't Stand Being Called Hateful. : r/BlackPeopleTwitter

100%.

The news media in America is a joke nowadays, free media in America is dead, it is devolving into Russian State TV, half are terrified of upsetting the current admin and the other half support them in everything they do. Free speech only applies to Republicans but when the left do it the centrist and Republicans lose their minds and accuse the left of being monsters, get them fired from their jobs for the most harmless comments which are a completely accurate assessment on the situation, they're a bunch of hypocrites.

I'll say again it was only a few months ago when a Democrat was assassinated by a Republican and that left the news cycle incredibly fast, Republicans desperately tried to blame the Left, hardly anyone corrected them on it, they avoided all accountability and there was nowhere near as much pearl clutching as there was about Kirk being shot dead, and this Democrat was a saint compared to the horrific shit Kirk has said. Some people only pop up for violence against the right but conveniently ignore all the violence against the left.

Was there a thread even made here about the Democrat who was assassinated in their own home? I can't recall the same energy for that as there is for this. I can't remember this US Politics thread really gathering that much more activity than usual, a lot of the people who are outraged about this didn't show their face for that. Or Kirk praising the guy who bashed Pelosi's husbands skull in.
