The best way to honor Charlie's memory is to continue his work: engage with each other, across ideology, through spirited discourse. In a democracy, ideas are tested through words and good-faith debate — never through violence.

Good old spirited discourse like how it's worth it to have some gun deaths every year to keep the 2nd amendment, how most trans people are mentally ill mass murderers, how empathy is a made up concept, how the Civil Rights Act was a huge mistake, and Martin Luther King was awful, like supporting a pastor who praised slavery, like how being gay is an 'error' equivalent to being a drug addict, how we should have anti-trans violence like in the 50s/60s, that we can't allow mass shooting victims to emotionally hijack the narrative, how Israel is actually great and downplaying all their genocide, like trying to post bail for the guy who smashed Nancy Pelosi's husbands skull open with a hammer.
I never forgot why I dislike Newsom but his centrist bullshit trying to reach out to the far-right didn't take long to rear its ugly head again, the dude is awful and if the Democrats make him the nominee for 2028 then they deserve to lose and Newsom will only result in the same status quo centrist bullshit as always and result in Democrats being smashed in the following election, Newsom honestly reminds me of Keir Starmer for the UK in the sense that they only won because Tories were so terrible but then Labour's support completely collapsed and Keir alienated the entire left-wing of his party and is now on track for a loss, Pritzker statement was 10x better than Newsom's shit.
