Have I found a rare Thatcher fan?
She took a sledgehammer to industries vital to these regions instead of managing a slow transfer, she offered them nothing in return, leaving untold amounts of people unemployed and with no alternatives, it destroyed businesses all around certain towns because people no longer had incomes, mental health was destroyed amongst former workers, suicide rates went up, they had well paying jobs for dozens of years and Thatcher ripped it away from them and offered them nothing in return, they were left with nothing.
It set entire towns in UK back dozens of years, thrown them into poverty, some are still recovering from the consequences. She may have helped the British economy in the medium-long term but absolutely fucking destroyed people in the short term with zero remorse. Margaret Thatcher was despised in the North of England, Scotland, Wales, etc.
There were multiple street parties thrown when she died. She was a dickhead and a lot of Brits hated her for very strong reasons, so spare your pearl clutching about her, or go to Northern England and tell them how much you love Maggie Thatcher and see what they will say to you, it will likely be far worse than what you've said about me, Lmao. This old ladies opinion isn't that rare.
I'm not celebrating Kirk's death but I'm just saying I understand why some people feel the way I do about him and I don't give a fuck that he is dead, unfortunately for you, I can't be forced to care about someone I don't care about. He was a monster too, obviously he couldn't perform as much evil as Thatcher but he his rhetoric and actions have still contributed to many people being harmed.

I have no idea who you are even writing a novel about. Your posts are disgusting and you are a moderator on this site which is disheartening. I pray Jesus softens your heart.

That explains thing.
Thank you for your prayers, my heart is already softened to those who deserve it, not Maggie Thatcher though who God probably sent to Hell.
Last edited by Ryuu96 - on 10 September 2025Charlie Kirk was a truly evil man. I'm not going to celebrate his death, but I'm not going to feel bad about it, either. I do worry about escalating violence as a result of this, but after the attempts on the Pelosis, the Hoffmans, Gretchen Whitmer, Mike Pence, Donald Trump, and the successful assassination of the Hortmans, it's not like they needed an excuse in the first place.

While criticizing YouTuber Ms. Rachel for quoting “love your neighbor” to defend celebrating pride month, Charlie Kirk quoted a Bible verse used to justify stoning gay people “to death.”

Kirk called the stoning verse, “God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matters.” pic.twitter.com/2b5oHQLmy3
Trump ally Charlie Kirk called being gay “an error” and likened it to being an alcoholic or a drug addict.

Kirk’s message to gay people: “You’re better than this.” pic.twitter.com/KUdiihNzLA
As someone with gay family members too, Kirk can go fuck himself.

Just because my mind works like this. I was wondering with that shot, if the person is military and is trans how would that go down. Things are going to get real interesting real soon but if the police did not get the person within the first few hours, the chances of that happening is probably slim to none with the distance of that shot.
Would the military be proud of that shot but cannot say anything about it. Would it be used to say trans are unstable but you have to give them credit for being good at what they do. Of course, just like anything where one group can be blamed for one person act, this will be something used politically. The problem for he right is that Kirk own statements are going to be used against him as well. Live by the sword and all that good bible stuff.
Watched a close up video of it. Reminded me of the Bud Dwyer video.
Anyway, not shedding tears for neo-confederates or white supremacists, and Kirk definitely was within that camp.
Utah's Commissioner of Public Safety, in a press conference, just said they do not have a suspect in custody

And now, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, in the same press conference, says they have a "person of interest" in custody

Wtf is going on?
