128 Democrats vote against impeaching Trump.

I've said it before but the Democrat Party is one of the most pathetic opposition parties in the West, Lol. JFC...It wouldn't have passed anyway, it was a symbolic vote, so why the fuck would you vote no? All you do is once again show that Republicans are totally united on an issue while Democrats can't get on the same page or support Trump remaining in power, how does this look to your voter base?

All this tells me is 128 Democrats weren't mad about Trump bombing Iran, they were mad they weren't involved in the decision but they would have absolutely supported bombing Iran if it was put to a vote. This party I swear has absolutely zero fight in it aside from a few dozen, the public are fighting back against Trump's bullshit more than Dem leadership.

Democrats fight harder to stop a left wing candidate (Zohran Mamdani) than they do Trump, Lmao.

A less cynical reading (or more) cynical) is that every failed impeachment actually empowers the president even more. When someone is acquitted in an impeachment, it tells them that their actions will be sanctioned by Congress. We’ve also seen this in Texas, where AG Ken Paxton was acquitted of serious and highly credible charges along party lines in September 2023, and now runs roughshod over the Texas legal system, and is now challenging John Cornyn for his Senate seat when in reality, Paxton should be in a Federal prison cell. It also empowers MAGA voters to even greater depths of viciousness. See, the Democrats lost again in a sham impeachment trial

The bar for convicting someone through an impeachment trial is impossibly high. It’s not like a no confidence vote in a parliamentary system. It takes 67 out of 100 Senators to remove someone from office, a ratio which neither party will ever have. If Nixon had the same kind of Senate Trump did, he would never have resigned. And of he’d refused to resign when he did, odds are he would have been acquitted by the Senate anyway. And due to the rigidity of the U.S. electoral system, there are no such things as snap elections for members of the executive branch.. They are only held on set schedules. In the nearly impossible scenario of a conviction, Vance would become president, Congress would pick a new VP, and Vance would run in 2028 on how unjustly MAGA was treated.

I’m not saying Trump doesn’t deserve impeachment, but I can see why the Democrats don’t want to go through that kind of absolute futility again. They impeached him twice and it only gave him more power.

US supports ethnic cleansing with another $30 million tax payer money. GHF is mostly funded by Mossad, but Israel needs another handout from the US. All real aid is still blocked at the borders.

US gives $30m to Gaza Humanitarian Foundation: Report

The United States has committed $30m to a controversial group operating in Gaza despite mounting criticism over its role in deadly aid-site ambushes by the Israeli military, a news report says.

The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), established in February, has been accused by UN officials and international rights groups of enabling attacks on civilians by directing them to food distribution sites where Israeli forces have repeatedly opened fire.

UN special rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territoriy, Francesca Albanese, has previously called the GHF operation “humanitarian camouflage” and “an essential tactic of this genocide”.

Reuters news agency reported that while Washington has previously offered diplomatic support to GHF, this marks its first known financial contribution to the group, which contracts private US military and logistics firms to deliver aid into the besieged enclave.

More than 400 Palestinians have died at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) sites since their operation began in rising daily killings of the hungry.

At least 86 Palestinians – including 56 aid seekers – have been killed by Israeli attacks since dawn.

Rutte tried to butter him up, or maybe he is that stupid as well.

Trump shares texts from NATO chief praising ‘decisive action’ on Iran

United States President Donald Trump has shared a series of texts from NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte praising his attacks on Iran and the pressure he placed on allies to increase their military spending.

Trump shared Rutte’s texts in a screenshot posted to his social media website, Truth Social.

“Mr President, dear Donald, Congratulations and thank you for your decisive action in Iran, that was truly extraordinary, and something no one else dared to do. It makes us all safer,” the message said.

I guess it makes Rutte feel 'safer' not having to lift a finger.

What is NATO still good for anyway...

Trump is already ranting again, telling his ministry of information to claim the leak was fake information, err.

White House refutes intelligence Iran’s nuclear sites not destroyed

We reported earlier that CNN published a report saying an intelligence assessment concluded that US strikes “did not destroy the core components” of Iran’s nuclear programme. The New York Times also reported that the attack set back the Iranian nuclear programme by “only a few months”.

The White House has now refuted the news reports while appearing to confirm the intelligence assessment exists.

“This alleged ‘assessment’ is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community,” White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said in a social media post.

Iran’s nuclear sites ‘not obliterated’ after US strikes: Report

The Washington Post has joined other outlets in reporting that a top-secret US intelligence assessment has concluded that the attacks on Iran only set back the Iranian nuclear programme by months.

It reported that the intelligence findings assessed that US bombardment “failed to destroy the core components” of Iran’s nuclear programme, citing an unidentified source as saying that Tehran’s uranium stockpiles are unaffected.

Trump envoy insists US attacks destroyed Iranian nuclear facilities

Steve Witkoff has dismissed an intelligence report that said US air strikes on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan sites did not destroy the country’s nuclear programme.

“All three of those had most, if not all, the centrifuges damaged or destroyed in a way that it will be almost impossible for them to resurrect that programme,” Witkoff told Fox News.

“In my view, and in many other experts’ views who have seen the raw data, it will take a period of years.”

Witkoff also called the leaking of the report as “treasonous”.

“It ought to be investigated. And whoever did it, whoever is responsible for it, should be held accountable,” he added.

The Democratic-Socialist Beat the Democratic Establishment, Mainstream Media, AIPAC and Billionaires.

When will the Democratic leadership learn? Instead of being a bunch of status quo lovers desperately trying to appeal to Republicans who 99% won't ever vote for them. Left wing policies aren't automatically unpopular, the people are screaming out for change and they don't care if it is left or right. They've had enough of status quo dinosaurs.

Instead Democrat leadership spends more time attacking the left than actually showing fight against Republicans, they'd rather endorse some twat like Cuomo than be seen anywhere close to a left winger. It's so damn pathetic, I'm half expecting them to endorse the Republican for the New York GE at this rate (Jk...Hopefully).

Now AOC needs to primary that useless fucker Chuck Schumer.

Here comes the blowback

Iran’s parliament approves plan to pause cooperation with IAEA: Report

Iran’s Nournews site reports that the country’s parliament has passed a bill to suspend cooperation with the UN’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Under the plan, IAEA inspectors could only enter Iran with explicit approval from the Supreme National Security Council and if the agency guarantees the security of the country’s nuclear facilities, Nournews quotes a member of parliament’s presidium as saying.

According to Mehr news agency, a total of 221 members voted in favour of the bill recommending the suspension of the country’s cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The bill received zero opposition votes and one abstention, the report added.

The bill prohibits entry of IAEA inspectors unless the security of facilities is guaranteed. But it is still up to the country’s Supreme National Security Council to make a final decision and take action on the recommendation of the parliament.

The Iranian parliament has also started reviewing a legislative proposal for stricter prohibitions on the use of drones.

23 suspected Israeli spies reportedly indicted in Iran’s Khuzestan

Iranian prosecutors have indicted 23 people in the country’s Khuzestan province for allegedly spying for Israel, according to Tasnim news agency, as the government ramps up its security crackdown.

According to Tasnim, public prosecutors in the city of Ahvaz, in the country’s southwest near the Iraqi border, have accused the suspects of engaging in “subversive activities” in the province, including gathering information “for the enemy”, and spreading propaganda against the Islamic Republic, among others.

The allegations against the suspects could not be immediately verified by independent media or rights advocates.

Earlier today, Tasnim reported, the government executed three people accused of carrying out espionage activities against the government in the Urmia region, raising to at least six the number of people executed by the government since the Israeli military operation on June 13.

The judiciary also announced that at least 700 people suspected of spying for Israel were arrested in the last 12 days.

Trump desperate to rewrite recent history

Trump says he doesn’t think Iran salvaged enriched uranium at Fordow

Continuing his remarks to reporters at The Hague, Trump says he doesn’t buy Iranian claims that they moved enriched uranium out of the Fordow nuclear facility before the US attacked.

“I believe they didn’t have a chance to get anything out because they acted fast,” said Trump. “If it would have taken two weeks, maybe, but it’s very hard to remove that kind of material … and very dangerous.”

“Plus, they knew we were coming,” Trump added. “And if they know we’re coming, they’re not going to be down there.”

The satellite pictures say otherwise and show Iran buried the entrances with bulldozers after a convoy of trucks left a day earlier.

Trump compares Iran strikes to Hiroshima and Nagasaki

US President Donald Trump has compared the US strikes in Iran with the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, telling reporters at the NATO summit in The Hague the attacks “ended the war” and prevented further conflict.

The US president told reporters at the NATO summit on several occasions that the Fordow nuclear facility was “obliterated”. He scolded one reporter for bringing up a preliminary US intelligence assessment that said the attack had set back Iran’s nuclear programme by a matter of weeks.

Trump said he spoke to the pilots who carried out the US attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities and was told by them the strikes were “perfect”. “You should be proud of those pilots, and you shouldn’t be trying to demean them,” he told the reporter.

Err, it was Israel running out of interceptor missiles that had them give in to Trump's 'ceasefire'. And no you should not be proud of committing war crimes. Trump belongs at the ICC.

Trump calls on reporter to be ‘fired’ over Iran nuclear report

US President Donald Trump has demanded CNN fire its correspondent over a news report on recent US air strikes on Iran.

“Natasha Bertrand should be FIRED from CNN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, accusing her of spreading “fake news” and calling for her to be “thrown out like a dog”.

The CNN report cited US intelligence as saying the strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites likely set the programme back by only months.

Trump claimed Bertrand was “attempting to destroy our Patriot Pilots” and added: “She doesn’t have what it takes to be an on camera correspondent, not even close. FIRE NATASHA!”
