Trump desperate to rewrite recent history
Trump says he doesn’t think Iran salvaged enriched uranium at Fordow
Continuing his remarks to reporters at The Hague, Trump says he doesn’t buy Iranian claims that they moved enriched uranium out of the Fordow nuclear facility before the US attacked.
“I believe they didn’t have a chance to get anything out because they acted fast,” said Trump. “If it would have taken two weeks, maybe, but it’s very hard to remove that kind of material … and very dangerous.”
“Plus, they knew we were coming,” Trump added. “And if they know we’re coming, they’re not going to be down there.”
The satellite pictures say otherwise and show Iran buried the entrances with bulldozers after a convoy of trucks left a day earlier.
Trump compares Iran strikes to Hiroshima and Nagasaki
US President Donald Trump has compared the US strikes in Iran with the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, telling reporters at the NATO summit in The Hague the attacks “ended the war” and prevented further conflict.
The US president told reporters at the NATO summit on several occasions that the Fordow nuclear facility was “obliterated”. He scolded one reporter for bringing up a preliminary US intelligence assessment that said the attack had set back Iran’s nuclear programme by a matter of weeks.
Trump said he spoke to the pilots who carried out the US attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities and was told by them the strikes were “perfect”. “You should be proud of those pilots, and you shouldn’t be trying to demean them,” he told the reporter.
Err, it was Israel running out of interceptor missiles that had them give in to Trump's 'ceasefire'. And no you should not be proud of committing war crimes. Trump belongs at the ICC.
Trump calls on reporter to be ‘fired’ over Iran nuclear report
US President Donald Trump has demanded CNN fire its correspondent over a news report on recent US air strikes on Iran.
“Natasha Bertrand should be FIRED from CNN!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, accusing her of spreading “fake news” and calling for her to be “thrown out like a dog”.
The CNN report cited US intelligence as saying the strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites likely set the programme back by only months.
Trump claimed Bertrand was “attempting to destroy our Patriot Pilots” and added: “She doesn’t have what it takes to be an on camera correspondent, not even close. FIRE NATASHA!”
