US President Trump responded to the ballistic missile strike by Russia in on Sumy which killed 34 and wounded 117.

"It was terrible, I was told they made a mistake," he said, before quickly brushing the whole subject aside and going on about how the war would never have started... bla bla bla.

Phew! Trump just got saved from criticising Putin, don't worry everyone, his master told him it was a mistake, time for everyone to move on, it was just a mistake, a double tap strike mistake, a mistake made dozens of times in Syria and dozens of times in Ukraine. GUYS IT WAS A MISTAKE! DON'T MAKE ME CRITICISE MY MASTER PUTIN PLEASE!

He's a fucking coward, a far bigger coward than Biden was with refusing to send long-range missiles for years, the level of fucking ass licking that Trump shows Putin is actually insane, the biggest thing he has done against Russia so far is extend Biden's sanctions for a year and say that he's upset at Putin for delaying a ceasefire, fucking wow, such a tough man, I'm sure Putin is quaking in his boots.

How much deeper can his tongue go in Putin's fucking asshole?

What an absolutely pathetic 'man'

If you're going to pick a fight with an authoritarian state that has been around for thousands of years, that rules with an iron fist, has little fear of elections and whose people are far tougher than Americans who have mental breakdowns at the thought of wearing a mask to a supermarket and scream about it infringing on all their human rights, maybe don't piss off all your allies so you're on your own.

Even with allies, it would be a tough battle against China. The collective West has made itself far too reliant on Chinese production to change its relationship with China within a few months. There would need to be a concerted effort with a roadmap of at least one decade, but for the Trump administration it already poses a challenge to think a week ahead.

If only that pesky TPP went through we might have seen something along those lines and opening China up but unfortunately the very person who killed it had ot clue why it was something we really wanted at the time to have a concerted front against China.  Now, we are doing the opposite forcing everyone to go to China and they couldn't be happier.  Yes, they will experience some pain but as long as Trump administration continue with whatever the hell they are doing, China will be able to diversify even more and it could be them forming their own TPP without the US part of it.

Donald Trump's administration just cut the September 11th relief fund, that was supposed to run until 2090. Well, apparently it was done April 1st, April Fools day.

US agency found no evidence linking Tufts student to anti-Semitism: Report

The Washington Post is reporting the US State Department had determined there was no evidence linking Rumeysa Ozturk to anti-Semitic activities or support for a “terrorist” organisation days before masked immigration agents arrested her on the street.

It said the finding was contained in an internal memo written in March, which was described to the newspaper. The memo said Secretary of State Marco Rubio does not have sufficient grounds for revoking Ozturk’s visa under a law that empowers him to safeguard the foreign policy interests of the country.

Ozturk, a doctoral student from Turkiye, was arrested on March 25 after she co-wrote an op-ed calling for Tufts University to divest from Israel.

The Trump administration said it had revoked her visa because she had “engaged in activities in support of Hamas, a foreign terrorist organization”.

Students and supporters rallied on March 26, the day Ozturk was arrested, calling for her release in Somerville, Massachusetts

"I'm not of the view that we should make big concessions for the sake of wrapping up negotiations quickly," Ishiba said in parliament, though he ruled out slapping Japanese tariffs on U.S. imports as a countermeasure.

"In negotiating with the United States, we need to understand what's behind Trump's argument both in terms of the logic and the emotional elements behind his views," Ishiba said, noting that U.S. tariffs have the potential to disrupt the global economic order.

HANOI, April 14 (Reuters) - China's President Xi Jinping on Monday called for stronger ties with Vietnam on trade and supply chains amid disruptions caused by U.S. tariffs, as he attended in Hanoi the signing of dozens of cooperation agreements between the two Communist-run nations.

"The two sides should strengthen cooperation in production and supply chains," Xi said in an article in Nhandan, the newspaper of Vietnam's Communist Party, posted ahead of his arrival on Monday. He also urged more trade and stronger ties with Hanoi on artificial intelligence and the green economy.

"There are no winners in trade wars and tariff wars," Xi added, without mentioning the U.S. specifically.

Its now being reported that the Trump admin will not give exemptions to electronics. Perhaps he is trying to psh companies to compain to other nations... or not. I don't really know at this point but I feel really bad for everyone involved. Consumers of course and companies like Nintendo who really don't know whats going on. Even if they try to push forward with the $450 price they will be setup if they then have to raise the price in a month or two. They could launh high and oome back down but thats gonna kill their launch in the US. The biggest problem with all of this is that their is no certainty so their is no way to plan correctly.

Didn't he say there's not an exemption because spooky tariffs are coming on them at a later date? So basically, there is an exemption, but he is promising big scary tariffs on these exemptions at a later date. Like he has been doing for the past 3 months. But yeah, the uncertainty and clearly idiotic leadership isn't good for business either way.

From claiming he could stop the war before he even becomes President to claiming he could stop the war in 24 hours to "IT'S NOT MY FAULT! IT'S BIDEN'S FAULT! LEAVE ME ALONE! PUTIN RESPECTS ME I PROMISE! I JUST GOT HERE!" I thought Biden's reluctance to send long-range missiles was sad, this is pathetic beyond words. Russia doesn't respect you one bit, never did and are publicly displaying that.

Someone criticises Trump.

⚡️Trump lashed out after Zelensky's CBS interview, demanding 60 Minutes be stripped of its license. In a Truth Social post, he didn’t name Zelensky but slammed the segment as “fake” and CBS as “liars.”

The interview covered stalled U.S. aid and Trump’s trust in Putin.
