Doubling down is the worst thing he could say right now, even worse if EU announces their retaliation tomorrow.

Trump's second administration has been jam packed with stuff that was never any possibility of. 

The funniest story I've learned about this weekend is that Navarro quoted the economist Ron Vara in his many books about economic topics. But Ron Vara does not exist and is merely an anagram of Navarro's name. So Navarro is a total fraud with extremely stupid economic ideas, a perfect fit for this administration.

The moral of the story is, even when you expected this term to be a tremendous clownshow, Trump still manages to blow your wildest expectations away.

The craziest thing is that American media still treat this administration as if there were serious, reasonable and respectable people in there who just happen to have a different view on a myriad of topics. This is the result of the widespread refusal to call the stupid stupid.

Reading into, it seems AstraZenica was breaking contracts... And the "stockpile" was found in an inspection/audit.

AstraZenica also stated that those vaccines were earmarked for the EU anyway... So they were stealing/raiding from themselves?

He's such an idiot. He doesn't understand what a trade deficit is; he believes that other countries owe the USA money. He doesn't understand how tariffs work; they don't bring in money to the USA. He is hellbent on solving a "problem" with a completely wrong solution.

Lol, yeah I was reading about this Ron Vara myself and also how Trump decided to have Pete Navarro in his administration based on that very same book he wrote.  So basically, Trump is enacting Pete's agenda.  We sure better hope Pete is a genius because at no time has Trump shone with his business that he can manage a crisis.  So the going opinion for people that support Trump is that this is going to be  brief recession that he is bringing on which he will then ease off the tariffs after he whip the world in shape.  I keep wondering where this faith in a guy who has never shone, he has the ability to burn something down and build it back up from the ashes.

The baffling part is that even when you believe in these ideas regarding tariffs, even then you should be able to realize that it's suicidal to take on the whole world at once.

The solution is simple really, America is going to build thousands of factories, big beautiful factories wherever they look, then grow every produce known to man, million of people on minimum wage full time jobs pumping out everything for the world, America will create every single thing the world could possibly need, and then they'll be no trade deficit, everyone will be buying everything they possibly need from America! America will become the Temu of the world.
