Canada’s province of Ontario will slap a 25% export tax on electricity it sends to 1.5 million homes in Minnesota, Michigan and New York, in retaliation for President Trump’s tariffs, said Doug Ford, Ontario’s leader. Ford added that he will direct the province’s energy producers to shut down the exports entirely if Trump moves ahead with even more tariffs on April 2. He said he would direct his minister of energy to redirect energy from an Ontario nuclear reactor to local manufacturers instead.

The chair of the House GOP's campaign arm told Republican lawmakers Tuesday to stop holding in-person town halls amid a wave of angry backlash over the cuts undertaken by President Donald Trump's administration. Trump on Monday dismissed the town hall uproar — much of it trained on the sweeping cutbacks made by the Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency — as being the work of “paid ‘troublemakers.’” Many other GOP leaders have adopted a similar tack, asserting that the protests Republican lawmakers have encountered have been concocted by Democrats and do not reflect genuine voter anger over the Trump cuts.

No More In-Person Town Halls, NRCC Chief Tells House Republicans

Now, Trump and Bondi are pressuring the state of Colorado to release convicted felon Tina Peters, who is serving 9 years in a Colorado prison for election tampering. We've seen this movie too many times since January 20. The Trump Administration puts pressure on a jurisdiction to release one of their Trump-loving criminals, the officials cave, and another degenerate criminal is back on the streets. It's like if the Joker was elected mayor of Gotham City and was turning everybody loose from Arkham Asylum.

After they helped release a sex trafficker, it shows there's no bar too low for them.

A reminder that "law and order" means the exact same thing to Donald Trump that it did to George Wallace in 1968. Southern conservatives in the 1960s regularly let white criminals go for committing crimes against their enemies.

U.S. President Donald Trump alleged Monday that Japan and China are guiding their currencies lower, hinting that he could impose fresh tariffs on Tokyo if this is not halted.

"The way you solve it very easily is with tariffs," he told a news conference at the White House, hinting at new tariffs on imports from Japan. "I've called (Chinese) President Xi (Jinping), I've called the leaders of Japan to say: 'You can't continue to reduce and break down your currency. You can't do it, because it's unfair to us,'" Trump said. "It doesn't have to be tariffs. But tariffs are easy, they're fast, they're efficient, and they bring fairness."

Lmao. Now threats towards Japan, how will the Gamers cope. Japan's economy is already taking a bit of a beating FFS, Lol. Just tariff the world already and get your insane shit over with. There's nobody on the planet he seems he will avoid tariffing, fuck everyone's economies, but he might be throwing Russian an economic treat by lifting some sanctions.

"I've called president Xi and whoever is leading Japan".

... Yeah.

🤦

The fun part is that this would further increase the value of the dollar vs. the yen... if the economic outlook for the US wasn't starting to tank too.

Everyone is so so bad to USA, finally someone in USA does something against it! It's so unfair how every country (except Russia) is to USA while USA is always good to the world.

USA's economy is only like 1/4 of that of the whole planet which is really unfair! How dare that countries with a GDP per capita much lower as USA also want to have economic growth! Japan had an average GDP growth of 1% the last 5 years, unbelievable how they push themselves to those heights!

It's also disgusting how USA has to live with all the bad stuff like Fentanyl coming from everywhere. USA would never let bad stuff like weapons reach other countries like Mexico to strengthen drug cartels or criminals in general.
