“Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool,” the account posted in July, according to the Journal’s review of archived posts. In June, the account tweeted, "I would not mind at all if Gaza and Israel were both wiped off the face of the Earth." “You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity,” the account wrote on X in September. “Normalize Indian hate,” the account wrote the same month.

Musk to Rehire Treasury DOGE Staffer Despite Racist Tweets

“He will be brought back,” Musk, the head of DOGE, wrote on X in response to Vance’s recommendation. "To err is human, to forgive divine,” Musk wrote.

“Here’s my view: I obviously disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life,” Vance wrote on X. “We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever,” said Vance. “So I say bring him back,” the vice president wrote. “If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that.”

“Are you going to tell him to apologize for saying ‘Normalize Indian hate’ before this rehire?” Khanna, who is Indian American, asked Vance on X. “Just asking for the sake of both of our kids.” “Racist trolls on the internet, while offensive, don’t threaten my kids. You know what does? A culture that denies grace to people who make mistakes. A culture that encourages congressmen to act like whiny children,” Vance wrote. Vance added in another post, “You disgust me.”

America has absolutely lost the fucking plot, holy shit, lets add this to reason #100 why Elon Musk is a Nazi. He is desperate to bring back someone who is pro-eugenics and racist as fuck and is trying to pass it off as a simple mistake! He made these posts when he was 24-25! Not when he was a fucking 12 year old edgy teenager! They're trying to normalise being racist and pro-eugenics.

Fucking JD Vance's "If he's a bad dude, fire him for that" He is literally a racist who is pro-eugenics as of a year ago and said he wouldn't mind if millions were wiped out, so yes I think it's safe to say he is a bad dude. JD Vance has an Indian wife for fuck sake and claims that a guy saying "normalize Indian hate" isn't a threat to his family?! What an utterly spineless bitch. This is absolutely insane shit.

Also he resigned according to official reports and was not fired.

I wonder how Republicans feel about him saying he wouldn't mind if Israel was wiped off the face of the Earth, who am I kidding, they'll fall in line as per usual, but Netanyahu told me that Elon Musk can't possibly be a Nazi because he did a photo-op! But likes doing Nazi salutes and hanging out with Nazis. I'm absolutely fucking baffled. America is insane.

"Why are journalists being mean to someone who is pro-eugenics and racist!" ?!?!?!?!!?!?!?

Anything weaker than married Republican men who claim to be big tough alpha males but rollover like a dog when someone talks shit about their wives? This dude could tweet "Kill all Indians" and JD Vance would defend him and be more mad at the people telling him he should be angry about that than the person who originally tweeted it just because he's a Republican so he has to get on his hands and knees.

This video has been making the rounds.

He basically says: Trump is acting like a king, because he's too weak to act as a president. He's passing law by executive order, because doing things properly through Congress is where he will lose.

Glad to see Hank speak out.

State Department greenlights $7.4bn arms deal with Israel

The US State Department has signed off on the sale to Israel of $6.75bn in bombs, guidance kits and fuses, in addition to $660m in Hellfire missiles, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).

“The United States is committed to the security of Israel, and it is vital to US national interests to assist Israel to develop and maintain a strong and ready self-defence capability,” the DSCA said.

Over the past 15 months, critics of Israel’s war on Gaza have repeatedly called on the US government to cut off weapons transfers to Israel, alleging they make the US complicit in the destruction of the coastal enclave.

Pro-Israel groups provide names of Palestine supporters to US immigration: Report

Pro-Israel groups in the US are compiling lists of pro-Palestine activists to hand to immigration authorities for deportation, according to a new report by The Intercept.

The US outlet investigated groups attempting to assist President Trump’s recent executive order demanding “the removal of resident aliens who violate our laws”.

The order – issued in response to pro-Palestine college campus protests across the US in 2024 – is intended to “quell pro-Hamas vandalism and intimidation, and investigate and punish anti-Jewish racism in leftist, anti-American colleges and universities”.

The Intercept report says that Betar US, Mothers Against College Antisemitism, the Chicago Jewish Alliance, and the Shirion Collective have taken steps to compile lists of pro-Palestine supporters to share with immigration authorities, or harass them directly with a “bounty system”.

I'm sure it's no coincidence Musk chose fairly your and inexperienced guys for the job. I have some ideas about the reasons, but none of those include anything good.

Here's what's happened, if you're just tuning in:
1. Musk ally Tom Krause told the Treasury career staff to cut off USAID payments
2. The career staffer resisted, saying doing so is illegal
3. The career staffer was ousted by Trump team
4. Krause has now been installed as head of the payments system

ICC chief prosecutor to be first target of Trump’s sanctions: Report

International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan may be the first person to be targeted under President Trump’s executive order authorising sanctions against the court and its staff, the Reuters news agency reports, citing two anonymous sources.

Khan, a British citizen, was named on Friday in an annexe – not yet made public – to Trump’s executive order, said a senior ICC official and another source, both briefed by US government officials.

The sanctions Khan and other designated ICC officials will face include the freezing of US assets and being barred, along with their families, from visiting the US.

Trump’s executive order directed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, in consultation with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, to submit a report within 60 days naming those who should be sanctioned.

Trump signs order to cut funding for South Africa, cites Israel genocide case

We have been reporting on President Trump’s promise to cut financial assistance to South Africa, with the US leader previously stating this was due to the country “confiscating land” and “treating certain classes of people very badly” – referring to white South Africans.

The White House officially confirmed on Friday that Trump signed an executive order cutting financial aid to South Africa, citing not only his disapproval of its land policy but also its landmark genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel.

The White House cited South Africa’s ongoing case, which it brought against Israel at the ICJ in December 2023, as an example of the country taking a position against Washington and its allies.

The White House has also said the Trump administration will formulate a plan to resettle Afrikaner South African farmers and their families – who are mostly white descendants of early Dutch and French settlers – as refugees through the United States Refugee Admissions Program.

Trump has provided no evidence for his accusations against the South African government.

I'm not American, but I do enjoy the sitcom American Politics.

I've regularly watched congressional hearings over many years and the thing that is obvious is that no matter who occupies the white house, the departments have no interest in working with the senate on any hearing request at all. Stone walling I suppose the term is. That and obviously the Senators and House members are more interested in giving some monologue than to get to the bottom of things.

So now you got a President that hired some youngsters to go check the departments out to see what is actually happening with American tax money and everyone is getting their undies in a twist. More outrage about some social media post of these youngsters than what they actually found. I thought Americans would be happy that some transparency is brought to these bloated Government institutions.

The United States remains to be weird, what makes it funny.

What did they find specifically that wasn't public knowledge before?

...

Call me crazy but I don't believe a Nazi, eugenicist and racist should be anywhere near government and making decisions which affect millions of people. I also don't believe that fresh out of college edge lords have any idea on how government works and the consequences of their actions. Oh and government officials should actually be able to see what unelected people are doing to government institutions.

I also don't believe the man whose companies also rely on government subsidies is in any position to decide on these things, it is firstly a massive conflict of interest and secondly hypocritical. I would also point to his one company that doesn't rely on government handouts (Twitter) is crashing and burning in revenue and profit even after he laid of 80% of its workforce.

Governments should not be ran like a business either where everything has a P/L system, that isn't to say they can throw away infinite amounts of cash with nothing in return but it is to say that there are certain things which are forgivable to put money into without a "profit" as it provides major benefits elsewhere, that can be foreign aid to boost diplomatic relations, prevent the spread of deadly diseases, increase economic ties or things that benefit a countries population as a whole, like healthcare, which in turn leads to a stronger workforce and healthier nation.

Musk and his cronies are simply burning through absolutely everything, with no thought at all behind the consequences of their actions, the negative impacts in the future, all on the vague bullshit of "cutting costs" but shockingly, none of these "savings" will impact the average citizen, instead the rich will continue to get richer as local and foreign support systems are gutted. Lets take the USAID which has provided American farmers billions in the past, now gone. Or the thousands of now jobless people in America.

Here's another random attack: Musk’s Team Takes Control of Key Systems at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Which funnily has bipartisan support but it won't stop Musk in his insane crusade.
