I think most South Carolinians would probably not be excited about sending Americans to take over Gaza. A small U.S. security firm is hiring nearly 100 U.S. special forces veterans to help run a checkpoint in Gaza during the Israel-Hamas truce, according to a company spokesperson and a recruitment email seen by Reuters, introducing armed American contractors into the heart of one of the world's most violent conflict zones.

UG Solutions - a low-profile company founded in 2023 and based in Davidson, North Carolina - is offering a daily rate starting at $1,100 with a $10,000 advance to veterans it hires, the email said.

And they have authorization to 'defend themselves'.

A 'checkpoint' that's not supposed to be there in the first place. It's a 4km wide total destruction zone, cleared to cut Gaza in half while providing quick access to the military to perform raids.

The US is only setting the ME up for more war and terrorism. And I wouldn't be surprised if some of it follows the cause back to its roots, the USA. Trump is working towards another 9/11. (9/11 resulted from the confluence of multiple factors. Islamic extremism was stirred by the Iranian Revolution, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the assassination of the Egyptian president. That extremism turned anti-American because of U.S. support for Israel and repressive and secular Arab regimes)
