What we can expect from this is that OPEC won't drop the price of oil because they aren't going to get anything for it. But Trump has created the setup for his excuse why the war isn't ending.

That thing he promised like over 20 times, I forgot the exact number but it was in the double digits, Lol. He also promised to end the war before he even got into office. Now he has realised it's a little more complicated and has given his man Kellog 100 days to settle it. The man is desperate to settle it for his image which likely means he will try to force Ukraine to accept a shitty deal that delays the inevitable, so their only hope is that Putin pisses off Trump and hurts his ego, otherwise I can see him making up an excuse to abandon Ukraine in the future.

If/When America sanctions and tariffs Denmark to try to force them to hand over Greenland to America like a bunch of fucking thugs, is the American Media going to bend over backwards to justify Trump's actions? "It's not blackmail! He's not stealing land! Sanctions are a perfectly legal trade strategy!" I imagine so, and MAGA will clap like the disgusting freaks they are. Speed running their way to becoming Western Russia.

I don't even believe him that it's barely breaking even, I bet it is in fact losing money, a lot of money, but it unfortunately already served its purpose, it's not a business anymore, it's a Republican mouthpiece where they spread their bullshit so even if it's losing money, it will still serve a purpose as a government propaganda and manipulation spreader. Hopefully it can lose so much money it becomes unviable though and eventually dies. All these Reddit's banning Twitter links definitely won't help it.

Military strategists know South Korean and Japanese nukes are a certainty in the near-inevitable US retreat from the Indo-Pacific, but proliferation in Europe (and perhaps Canada!), even accounting for Putin, was not on my radar.

If just all of the influencers, artists and so on around the world who hate what happened with Twitter/Musk would have the balls to abandon it. All those people who are the reason why many even use it. But they are so scared to lose a few percent of their income if they aren't present on every damn platform to promote themselves...because even if you make millions a year, more money is still more important.

For me, switching to Bluesky was easy as hell, I wish I done it sooner, I've had zero issue finding the news I used to find on Twitter, on Bluesky instead, but that's largely for gaming. Honestly, they won't admit it but a lot of people are just straight up addicted to Twitter, even those that hate it, I realised when I left Twitter I was just making a bunch of excuses for remaining, Lol.

If it were up to me we'd delete that Twitter embed and replace it with a Bluesky one...
