And people still believe humanity will take a step forward with colonizing other planets. It will just end as a shitshow of everyone fighting for the resources and those who colonize the planets will start their own shit as well and fight against everyone else.

This will be so fun in some hundred or thousand years when every planet will blackmail or oppress every other planet

I'm not a doomer at all but I agree that it won't happen but for other reasons.  What will happen when we further deplete our planet's oil?  The economy will go downhill when gas is $20 a gallon, that seems painfully obvious to me.  There is also only so much lithium or whatever else they are going to make batteries out of.

When the economy goes down, commerce into space won't be worth it, and we will only look at the planets from afar or in a nice sci fi movie.

Peacekeeper Trump isn't even president yet and he's already talking about annexing land belonging to allies. Quite impressive actually.

These four years are going to be insane.

I don't fucking know "how many lives" saved those "vaccines", probably NONE, but they were real CRAP

🥴

Repeating debunked claims doesn't make it true, shouting about something doesn't make it a fact.

Also nobody knows where COVID originated from, it's a pointless debate at this stage, we'll likely never know.

Anyway...

How bout those Polio and Childhood Vaccines, the things the original post were talking about, things far more dangerous than COVID. How the fuck did we get side-tracked by COVID for pages? I'll say again, it looks like a very intentional misdirect to avoid criticism of people in Trump's admin because they know it's a lot easier to attack COVID vaccines (even if stupid) than it is to attack things like Polio vaccines.

Glad you took notice in the end. Reading those 10 pages of trolling derailing the original post and muddying the water with Covid nonsense made me wanna bang my head on the table.

That’s why right will not debate the left, indefensible positions on things like polio that they can’t begin to justify for themselves let alone others….. ok.

(I know this is an old post but I had the tab open since I'm just mustering the energy to post anything online)

Normal stuff.

He's just showing his swagger.  And even if serious, he would lose the respect of the world and almost everyone in the United States.  Respect and admiration are everything to Trump so i doubt that he would even consider such things.

Already done.

Right. Just about what I expected for his second term, worse things to come. Good on him and his cultist fans for dreaming big and dreaming crazy, in a way, I respect he’s true to his shitty nature. However, I have no respect for his fan base whatsoever, I thought you wanted a noninterventionist? I thought you wanted to withdraw the troops from everywhere? I thought you wanted him to crack down on the abuse of HB one Visa? Or are you just going to roll over and call it "strong leadership"? Of course you will.

Meanwhile, let me check what the resistance on the left is doing:
- Biden laments not running again believing he could’ve won while still funding a genocide on the way out. Fucking delusional asshole who will and should go down as one of the worst presidents in recent memory, blocking a primary and delivering Trump to the white, twice, is his legacy, along with a little genocide and failing to support Ukraine meaningfully.
- The people who delivered Trump (oh yes they did) shitting on AOC, rejecting her bid for oversight position, choose 74-year-old with cancer instead, because "it's his turn"
- Macron working with the right instead of co-operating with the left that literally saved his ass when he called for elections. Rather burn the house down than work with a reliable ally that spared him what could’ve the most embarrassing political miscalculation in the history of politics.
- Trudeau resigning after 10 years of actively creating one of the worst, if not the worst, housing crises in the west. Shocking news, necessities like housing matter, and showing the voters a chart of how their wages have outstripped other less important goods isn’t going to cut it.

Shame on me for justifying the dems silence on the genocide because “oh it might turn off certain voters, oh it might piss off AIPAC” meanwhile, Trump is definitely about annexing an entire continent, but this is what you get when your only option is to support neoliberals, the half of bowl of shit Nina Turner once accurately described. It might not be too late in 4 years time, but will the political left have learned anything by then? and why should I compromise on my positions when all they do is lose anyway?

It's a really naive post by shavenferret. While it's true that respect and admiration mean a lot to Trump, he has never cared about it being honest respect and honest admiration; he is more than content with sycophants.

So what would be Trump's next step if people say mean things about him? He will threaten social media and news media to report favorably on him, because that's what he has already done and wants more of.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV will outsell Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I was wrong.

Lmao at MAGA screaming about supporting Ukraine and how the Dems are leading us to WWIII but as soon as they get into power they're talking about liberating UK, stealing the Panama Canal, threatening Greenland/Denmark and Canada for their land and edging themselves at the thought of using military force to take it, I mean look at this fucking loser.

If Shapiro wants a joke, it sure has been a long time since Washington was burnt to the ground 🤔

The AOC rejection legit pissed me off, these centrist, ancient fuckers clinging onto power have not learnt anything.

Macron is another annoying case because I actually love how Macron speaks about Europe/NATO as a whole but when it comes to French politics specifically he's fucking dog shit, like I agree with practically everything he says about NATO/Europe/EU but holy shit this loser doing everything in his power to avoid working with the left, which has now backfired on him twice, the left had to unite to save France and he just fucking spat in their face. I wish he would just piss off to a high ranking position in either EU or NATO.

Elon constantly tweeting how government spending is costing the taxpayer money as if he has no idea that he's saying nothing groundbreaking or new, we tried to privatise everything and cut spending and it backfired spectacularly, but it made some rich CEOs like him even richer so I suppose it makes sense for him to want to constantly lie about this too.

Look at Ben and the rest of the MAGA base, pathetic. Gross. I'm fucking repulsed by how spineless they are.

Being sold out because an illegal immigrant from South Africa wants open borders so he can cut costs of his state funded enterprises. Can you make this shit up?

Yep, GCUM. Bold idea with a bold name.
