Basically no real change to both NBC and Fox's polling from pre-debate, Lol.

*Fucking Shrug* Lol. I hate these polls.

NBC poll:

62% of Democrats now say they would have preferred another candidate to Biden
79% of voters, including 61% of Dems, say they have concerns about Biden having the necessarily physical and mental health to be president

When third party candidates are added the lead goes from Trump +2 in a H2H to Biden +3.

I really don't have a fucking clue if Dems need to stick with Biden or switch to Harris.

Think the issue is no matter what happens, Dems are voting Dem and MAGA are voting MAGA and absolutely nothing will change that fact and the independents won't decide until much closer to election so we're seeing polls barely changing until then, aside from slight temporary boosts.

Yeah, it seems like the Dem candidate doesn't really matter too much when they are placed against Trump. It would be nice if anything mattered but it seems the effect is so minimal it gets lost in polling error. Because of that, Biden won't step down and we'll be stuck in this mess of a race.

All I feel I can really do at this point is vote blue (no matter who) and hope those few independents come to their senses in November.

I've thought about locking it in the past, Lol.

Not for any other reason other than it just feels like we have two mega threads running, they both discuss the same topics, they both cover a broad range of US Politics...The only difference feels like the title and I'm sometimes torn between where to post, Lol.

We don't have any mechanism for merging though and I fear what will happen if we quickly created one
