From the official definition:
"Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic."

Who wants to bet that the second line is completely ignored by authorities? It should be the first sentence.

Trump also told the crowd that President Joe Biden’s incompetence had brought the world “to the brink of nuclear war” and only he would be able to “prevent World War III”.

"I will prevent World War III!"

"How?"

*Crickets*

Pretty much how this always goes.

"I WOULD HAVE STOPPED RUSSIA FROM INVADING UKRAINE"

*Zero information how*

It's amazing how Trump can claim to be able to do something with zero to back him up and his fans will eat it up, Lol.

I'm going to grow wings and fly, vote me as President.

One of the trademarks of a cult leader is to suggest you are the only one that can do/prevent a thing.  The specifics are irrelevant.  In fact, to be successful, you can't produce specifics because they operate on faith.  Ties in pretty nicely with the parallel between Trumpism and Evangelism.

Biden finally breaks his silence on campus protests

US president Joe Biden has been under pressure, not just by his rival in the upcoming presidential election, former President Donald Trump, but also from the American public, who have been wondering why he’s been absent as these nationwide protests grow on college campuses.

There have been comments from the National Security Council spokesperson, the deputy press secretary, the press secretary, all saying pretty much what the president said: that these protests are not within the law, that the White House supports free speech, the right to protest and freedom of assembly, but that it doesn’t support protests that are unlawful.

One of the questions asked to President Biden was whether the demonstrations would make him change any of his policies on Gaza. The answer was no, without hesitation or qualification. And that’s what could have quelled this disruption. The fact that he was not willing to budge on that is going to be a problem for Biden, because he needs these young people to win re-election, and he trails Trump in a lot of battleground states.

The US president has a problem, and so far, he has not changed his tack.

Trump weighs in on protests from hush money trial

Biden’s comments came shortly after Trump again weighed in on the protests. Speaking outside of his criminal trial, where he faces 34 felony charges related to payments made to an adult film star, Trump praised police in New York and California for cracking down on protesters.

“[The NYPD] did a job in Columbia and likewise in Los Angeles they did a really good job at UCLA,” he said.

He then renewed a familiar line.

“These are radical left lunatics. And they’ve got to be stopped,” he said.

Landmark Systematic Review Concludes Regret Rate for Trans Surgeries is “Remarkably Low,” Compared to Other Surgeries & Major Life Decisions

"In recent years, anti-transgender activists have used fear of “regret” as justification to ban gender-affirming care for transgender youth and restrict it for many adults. Now, a new systematic review published in The American Journal of Surgery has concluded that the rate of regret for transgender surgeries is “remarkably low.”

The review encompasses more than 55 individual studies on regret to support its conclusions and will likely be a powerful tool in challenging transgender bans in the coming weeks.

It finds that “there is lower regret after [gender-affirming surgery], which is less than 1%, than after many other decisions, both surgical and otherwise.” It notes that surgeries such as tubal sterilization, assisted prostatectomy, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and more all have regret rates more than 10 times as high as gender-affirming surgery.

The review also finds that regret rates for gender-affirming surgeries are lower than those for many life decisions. For instance, the survey found that marriage has a regret rate of 31%, having children has a regret rate of 13%, and at least 72% of sexually active students report regret after engaging in sexual activity at least once. All of these are notably magnitudes higher than gender affirming surgery.

The review is in line with recent data supporting very low regret rates for transgender people. The 2022 U.S. Transgender Survey, the world’s largest survey of transgender individuals, which surveyed over 90,000 transgender people, found that for those receiving hormone therapy, regret rates are incredibly low: less than 1% report being a little or a lot less satisfied after beginning hormone therapy.

There is no evidence that transgender people experience high rates of regret for any transgender care, including transgender surgery. On the contrary, gender-affirming care saves lives."

Might need this in the future, the UK is a shitshow of culture wars at the minute, every party gunning against trans-people while NHS crumbles, people starve, nobody can get a dentist appointment, food prices soaring, a housing crisis but the toilets are the #1 issue right now! Trans people this, trans people that, attacks on all sides, it sucks.

At least Tories were smashed in the local elections so that's a silver lining.

The Extremist Democrats Are At It Again

While there are many different forms of cancer and likely as many different research endeavors to treat them, the Moonshot program was the largest, organized effort by the U.S. government to find cures. Formed in 2016 by then-Vice President Joe Biden, after his own son was killed by brain cancer, the program has enjoyed bipartisan support and praise.

Initially funded in 2016 at $1.8 billion for seven years, with the aim to reduce cancer deaths by half by 2047, the program has made strides in expanding access to cancer detection screenings, especially to veterans, increased support for programs aimed at preventing cancer in the first place and provided funding to groundbreaking cancer cure research.

However, with the ever-present dysfunction of Congress, maybe predictably, the program has been stalled. Some Republicans, refusing to give Biden a “win,” voted against the renewal of funding. Even though this would be a win for all Americans – and humanity – it apparently did not outweigh the politics of making a Democrat look good. This is the definition of party over country.

Congress Voted Against Funding a Cure for Cancer Just to Block a Win For Biden

Far too many already.  Replace the name with your average citizen and they would likely have been in pre-trial detention the whole time to start with and immediately had their bail revoked the first time they even uttered anything negative.
