Netflix's Wednesday, a spinoff of The Addams Family starring Jenna Ortega as an older Wednesday Addams, has achieved 341.2 million streaming hours in the first week, breaking the record previous held by Stranger Things season 4, 287 million streaming hours.

It remains to be seen if it will also be able to topple both Stranger Things 4 and Squid Game for the first month streaming hours record. Squid Game is currently Netflix's record holder on that metric with 1.65 billon streaming hours in the first 28 days, while Stranger Things 4 is 2nd place with 1.35 billion viewing hours in the first 28 days.

It's certainly on my list of shows I want to watch. I always loved the Addams Family. Especially the first movie with Angelica Houston, Raul Julia, Christopher Llyod and Christina Ricci.

This is good. I loved it. I guess season 2 is very much happening.
