Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft's new motion control device? If this makes it to the 360, WOW!!!

It looks like It straps around the hand, so you don't really hold it.

Thanks for pointing that out. I don't think my tiny brain could've put that one together :P

Around the Network

Looks like this might be a great controller however there's no hope cuz if this takes off Nintendo will just bring back the Power Glove and destroy the competition!

What are you looking at, nerd?

@ Kingofwale.

It was filed as both a windows gaming mouse and an option for "videogame consoles."

I think this looks awesome. I think it would fit very naturally in someone's hand.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

Where the hell are all the buttons?

hmm, i dont know what to think of anything anymore.

Around the Network

There are four buttons on the end of it.

Looks like something that would break if stepped on.

I think that's them between the thumb and index finger.

So how would it actually work? (the motion sensing)

It'd have to just be like waggle wouldn't it? No pointer, no gesture recognition etc.

And it doesn't look as versatile as the Wiimote either (swinging like a sword, holding like a steering wheel and such)

ProTip: don't step on it.

Try stepping on other controllers and see how that works out. :)

Maybe PSP too while youre stompling on things...
