With the engine upgrade out of the way and the game having been in pre-production since 2018 lol, hopefully every little thing for the game has been thoroughly planned out and it just needs to be made. I'm hoping for 2026 but I might be overly optimistic

2028. Think it depends on when next gen is though. I think it would be a waste to launch it like a year before next gen starts so they should Imo align the launch with next gen which I think will be 2028. Start the gen off really strong, a next gen only Elder Scrolls, it will cause a very strong start to their hardware sales versus PlayStation as well.

But that would mean no Elder Scrolls for two gens in a row, Lol.

I don't think they're getting Elder Scrolls out 3 years after Starfield. Bethesda isn't really big enough, Starfield will likely be heavily supported post launch as well through expansions as per usual so they probably won't enter full production on Elder Scrolls until late 2024. Maybe 2027 but if next gen is 2028 then I'd just push it back and give them more time.

Just wanted to get that joke in, I'm actually looking forward to the event somewhat, it's a nice feeling when the showcases are here, May-June Gaming Goodness. Hope they'll be some cool multiplatforms revealed here too.
