Even something like Stranger of Paradise had wildly mixed reviews, with a lot of people really selling the game as much more fun than expected. Worth trying, especially when every version should easily be findable in your nearest bargain bin right now.
If they were to announce Final Fantasy VII Remake finally making it's way over, how would this thread even react? Just grumble that it's 2 years later than PS5 and 3 years later than PS4? Meanwhile continue to have endless patience and tolerance for XGS for a second straight gen. |
Well, personally I generally don't comment on the Square hate (I may have made a passing joke or two but generally I don't make any posts on the topic). I just buy all my Square Enix games on PS4/5 (and Switch when Square decides to put something only on that platform). I bought Diofield, Star Ocean, Tactics Ogre, etc... all on PS5 (still need to pick up Crisis Core as well). Also, Redfall was flat-out a terrible game, even if it didn't have a slew of technical issues the game is just flat-out bad. All of that said, I'm speaking just for myself. I know maybe one user here who genuinely doesn't like Square and another who trashes them all the time but also proceeds to purchase every game they've released. |
