Agreed. The campaign was amazing. Sadly, the multiplayer was worse than the first game, and most people buy FPS games for the multiplayer rather than the singleplayer, which is a big part of why it flopped.

Which IIRC was actually Vince's bright idea and not EA's like everyone thought

Battlefield/CoD level campaign is among likes of Bioshock, Halo and Metro? You take that back! :P

And yes the multiplayer was way way worse than TF, just too damn generic. No wonder it failed.



Really strange decision indeed but not that much of a deal breaker for me.
I sure love 60fps game but will take lock 30 anytime over flimsy 60fps.
Also since Redfall isn't aimed at competitive PvP but PvE make 60 fps somewhat less of a requirement.

But yeah really weird they can't do 60fps, should be easy to just drop some post processing and lower resolutions unless it is entirely a CPU bottleneck. This may point to the game not forcing the players to stick together as the culprit. Maybe the game is built so that the host is actually doing all the processing.

Probably why developers prioritise graphics all the damn time, Lol.



I call for any FPS game made by Xbox or Bethesda utilize id Tech!



I still think they should delay it even if most don't care about 30fps vs 60fps because it ain't just that but a combination of negative factors that build up and spread (always online, co-op progress, 30fps, etc) and then when you combine that with what it is launching near it just amplifies both factors. But I guess we'll see...If I'm being honest, Imma cuck and if it scores well then I'll likely be playing it in 30fps either way...

Unless I'm still busy with other titles but Legends and Benedict Fox should be short games.
