Finished Hogwarts Legacy.  It’s a stunning tour of the Harry Potter universe, one that you need to keep your hands inside the ride at all times. It’s a game that has nothing outside of its fanfare to Harry Potter and once the fanfare has fallen away you find yourself in one of the poorest examples of an open world in recent memories. An obnoxious amount of collectibles that serve no purpose (Landing pads do what exactly?) and long outlive their welcome, side quests that are over in 5 minutes, locations that outside of Hogsmead/Hogswart are completely forgettable, one dimensional side characters that never want to know you unless they want something (Ravenclaw got screwed). Nothing has any depth apart from combat (that was pretty great), outside of  the main quest you can’t do anything but fetch quests and collectibles. My biggest issue is your character feels like a ghost in the world, wanna use the killing curse? Ok go ahead nobody cares. Wanna steal everything? Ok go ahead nobody cares. It feels weird and hollow. The inexperience from the studio really shows and I hope they do better for their next game. 6/10

Damn, your opinion of the game really took a nosedive lol. You had nothing but praise for it for weeks.

I still do think it’s the best HP game and a 6/10 isn’t bad but … it’s a very shallow game.

Another excuse to whip this legendary vid out.

Rare's best game ever amirite @ice

I wonder when/if Sea of Thieves "2" happens and how? Would love to see it on Unreal Engine 5.

Be funny when Sea of Thieves lasts longer than Halo Infinite and other Xbox IP.

Lots of Blizzard developers are pissed off at Mike Ybarra for a recent company Q/A. He may be a fan of Blizzard IP but he seems like a poor leader going on this. Time for Rod to Rise

Oh Activision-Blizzard...If this deal did by a miracle go through, Phil is going to have to be extremely hands on, unlike XGS/Zenimax. He'll look 80 years old by the end of it.

I've had a 'fun' thought once before that Sarah Bond should take over Activision-Blizzard to prep her for when she obviously takes over from Phil, she already has experience in many things; Development Tools, M&A's, Developer Partnerships, Financials, etc.

Then again, Phil isn't running the studios now so Sarah won't be when she takes over so I don't think she really needs the experience there, it would just be interesting...Although I wouldn't want to take her away from her current role, I feel it's too important, but I do think that maybe someone from Xbox side should take over ABK rather than someone from inside of ABK since all the execs seem hated, Lol.

What does this mean on Steam?

DEAR GOD GIVE ME SOMETHING BETHESDA.
