Streamers tend to have the game downloaded before (similar with gears last week).

Nah, the ones I watched switched to Gamepass because they also couldn't download from Steam and had to search it on Gamepass (with some reloads) and downloaded it then but I just don't get it shown at all even with reloading.

Was anyone allowed to download it before? I know it didn't receive early codes and I don't think downloads were open until launch. I think right now everyone is downloading it at the same time.

Well typically yeah, like the xboxon twitchstream just waited till release time and started the game immediately.

* Edit: seems the store is sometimes working now...

So if people forgot (due to a certain little indie releasing today) but Indiana Jones ATGC DLC also released today.

Steven Spielberg really wanted to direct a 'Call of Duty' movie 🪖

• He's a gamer and plays CoD

• He pitched his vision to Activision — wanted final cut and full control over production

• Activision got spooked and then sold the rights to Paramount where they'd have more control

Is Activision having a laugh? They're totally delusional, I don't even think not wanting to give control is a valid excuse when we're talking about Steven Spielberg, it's fucking Call of Duty, it doesn't exactly have that much worth being protective over, instead they give it to Paramount...Haha, I'm convinced this film is going to be shit now.

Fahey: "If today's kids and teens aren't engaging with PlayStation, it's very unlikely they'll start doing so as twenty-somethings or thirty-somethings"

Correct. We're seeing signs of this happening right now.
