Oh dear god, I have PTSD with this game. It sucks so much, and the characters are insufferable. Clunky gameplay. I was done with the game as soon as the dinner dance happened. At least glad I got the game used and traded it in later.

There's likely hundreds of disgruntled employees, who'd thought treating your developers like shit would make them angry. Microsoft only has themselves to blame for this leak then if it's an angry employee. Morale at the division is at an all time low and that's Microsoft's fault.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Please make it happen, I've always wanted Forza Horizon to swap to releasing in the first half. Fable is almost certainly moved to second half then but I'm fine with that if Forza Horizon is in the first half.

The game was decent despite those two annoying characters bought it new for $19.99 at Best Buy in early 2009.  For that price a game has to be beyond terrible for me to regret buying it.  Would buy it again digital if it was at least 50% off since most of its achievements are very grindy and a second playthrough would only give me a couple more that I don't have.

Angry people who are treated like shit by their employer don't tend to think rationally, they just want to get back at the employer, in this case someone has seemingly leaked Microsoft's documents and Forza Horizon 6 is one part of that. How do you know it wasn't someone in the marketing department who leaked it? There's a lot of people who have genuine reason to be angry at MS right now.

What leak is allowed to get back at Microsoft after they've created an all time low morale at the division though? No matter what, some innocent person is getting screwed, whether it's a videogame leak, or a hardware leak, or a future business plan leak, they'll be collateral damage either way, and it's likely to happen more because Microsoft employees are upset at Microsoft so this is largely Microsoft's fault.

Ironically the leak is probably going to end up being a net-positive though and backfire on the angry employee, because of this leak, Xbox's TGS stream will likely be their most watched ever and that will solely be down to the fact that Forza Horizon 6 was leaked to be revealed at the event, usually Xbox's TGS is just port announcements and rarely a major announcement.

Forza Horizon 6 will be a huge announcement even with the leak, if it weren't leaked ahead of time then the vast majority of people would find out about Forza Horizon 6's announcement via a Twitter post, Lol. Even Xbox fans barely tune into the Xbox TGS Stream and the rest of the industry doesn't give a fuck. So this leak will actually end up being a benefit with now thousands of people tuning in solely to eagerly await Forza Horizon 6's announcement. So the leaker ended up just giving Microsoft's TGS team a bit of a win.

Forza Horizon 6 is being revealed in September, Halo CE Remake in October. Anything for November? I could see Fable showing up at TGAs or Clockwork Revolution. Maybe Gears E-Day? FH6 is planned for first half of 2026 and Halo is almost certainly going to target November, Fable and Gears will likely be Holiday too. Gears first then Fable then Halo I would predict.

I don't understand why people are still talking about a Fable delay, I see no reason why Fable shouldn't make 2026, Lol, I'd speculate it could make early 26 but GTA 6 will be the most likely thing to delay it. It's Halo that I'm most worried about by far, I think there's a strong chance that Halo doesn't even make 2026 and it will be another stupid Phil promise that massively backfires and embarrasses Xbox.

My point was less about whether it would be logical for disgruntled employees to engage in leaks, and more about the fact that ascribing leaks to anger seems entirely like a flavor of the moment narrative. We all know damn well that these leaks happen regardless, especially with companies as big as MS. We get leaks literally non-stop about one project or another, and they've never been predicated, or otherwise reliant upon anyone getting laid off for them to happen. MS could have laid off literally 0 people in the last several years, and we'd still be getting leaks like this.
