Where's the best place to buy GPUs?

I generally use overclockers or scan for PC Parts, but nothing wrong with Amazon either.

“We saw an uptick in game subscriptions when Call of Duty made it to Game Pass… but after that, we saw an uptick in February, and in March and in April.”

He added that this might be why subscription services have started to grow again this year: “We saw a subscription market boom during the pandemic window. Then it flattened. It was flat for a couple of years. We saw an uptick when Call of Duty made it to Game Pass… but after that, we saw an uptick in February, and in March and in April. That could be content related, but it also could be consumers saying ‘I want to have better value for my dollar, so I am going to lean into those categories that could deliver that’. So keep an eye on that.”

Imo it's stupid to increase Game Pass price when you're back to growth mode which is what Microsoft is going to do but what do I know. Everything about Microsoft is about squeezing as much profits out as possible, despite having a healthy business. I will likely see it as good enough value for myself but you increase prices when growth has stagnated, which clearly hasn't happened to Game Pass, it is back to growth.

Other than the GPU, that's already better than a Series X lol. If you just put an RX 9060 XT 16gb in their you'd have above PS5 Pro performance and if you sold your 1660 Super it'd probably only cost you £250 to upgrade to that lol. Then if you installed Bazzite OS on it you'd have a powerful "steam console". OFC that's all mute if you don't want to install an OS, change the GPU yourself or you need game pass support. But you basically have everything you need for a great "steam console" already.

Really? Lmao.

I mean this PC has been working fine for 4 years but I've never actually bothered trying to use it for Gaming, Lol.

I wouldn't swap the OS either way, I'm happy to PC Game with Windows and I'm happy to use a combo of PC Game Pass + Steam.

Is that all I need to do? Replace the GPU? Lol.

For now yeah, a GPU upgrade would really be all you need. In a few years you will probably want to change out the motherboard, CPU, and RAM, because by that point games will be wanting a newer CPU and DDR5 RAM, but nothing released recently would really be handicapped by that CPU and RAM. Probably will want to get a 2nd, larger SSD as well when you do that upgrade in a few years, just make sure the motherboard you get at that time has 2 M2 slots so that you can use both your old SSD and the new one (or you could sell the old one and just get a larger single one).

I'm thinking about just fucking around with this current PC and upgrading the easy pieces like the GPU/SSD and then playing a few Sony games on Steam as a test bed then in a few years from now I'll just start fresh because the idea of replacing the entire motherboard or CPU terrifies me (Lmao) so I'll likely just start fresh with a PC builder site (yeah yeah, I know, I'm going to be told to build it yourself! Blah blah! Lol) while building up experience replacing the easier shit.

Then dump this PC on one of my nieces or nephews, Lol.

If I fuck up then I fuck up, I'm not particularly attached to this PC, Lol.

You can come too and feed me and fan me while G2 builds it.

G2 spent hours teaching me where certain components are in my PC as we tracked them down and I found out what goes where only for me to find out I had a manual which showed me where everything was and what it does. Round of applause to G2 for putting up with me and teaching me 🫡 😂😂😂😂

Finally completed the main game.  Turns out I own the DLC's, but will go back and play those when I revisit the game at a late date.  My largest gripe is that the game felt too easy.  I wish it had a hard difficulty to choose from at the start instead of just normal.  True Vault Hunter mode at the start with a fresh character would have been great.

Now to begin Tiny Tina's Wonderland. Edit: owed it for almost 3 years and just now unwrapped it.

...to avoid getting banned for inactivity, I may have to resort to comments that are of a lower overall quality and or beneath my moral standards.
