Really? Lmao. I mean this PC has been working fine for 4 years but I've never actually bothered trying to use it for Gaming, Lol. I wouldn't swap the OS either way, I'm happy to PC Game with Windows and I'm happy to use a combo of PC Game Pass + Steam. Is that all I need to do? Replace the GPU? Lol. |
For now yeah, a GPU upgrade would really be all you need. In a few years you will probably want to change out the motherboard, CPU, and RAM, because by that point games will be wanting a newer CPU and DDR5 RAM, but nothing released recently would really be handicapped by that CPU and RAM. Probably will want to get a 2nd, larger SSD as well when you do that upgrade in a few years, just make sure the motherboard you get at that time has 2 M2 slots so that you can use both your old SSD and the new one (or you could sell the old one and just get a larger single one).
