Completed Clair Obscur: Expidtion 33, Damn amazing game it is up their with the best games ever.

As someone who really only buys and plays digitally, if you are going to sell a box version, it should have the full game on the disc. I understand prioritizing digital, but there is still a reasonably large number of people who buy physical. Give it the vinyl treatment and make it special. Charge $5 more if that's what it takes. The people who care about physical will pay more. Giving some half assed box version is not going to do the company any favors.

No telling if they mean ports or only new games going forward, but Square is doubling down.

The issue is 'Only HD titles' It basically means a lot of games will skip xbox some maybe from franchises that have HD titles included making Xbox the worst place to play SE games.

I know, I'm just venting (I already have those titles on PS4 and Switch but still want them on PC lol).

Not if future Xbox hardware are PC based systems with a console overlay. Although, the term "only" was never used. In fact, they mention that they've cancelled multiple SD titles in favor for HD titles. They're refocusing development on HD titles so they can reach a quality over quantity bar. It looks like Square's biggest focus on growth is the PC market, which coincides with what Xbox appears to be doing with future hardware. In the same PC dedicated slide, they also mention that they've finally cracked entering the Chinese market. So maybe they finally are taking a page out of Capcom's book lol.

I still havent started on the series, looks like I'm gonna do a slow burn and get into each game like Gears of War.
