Dragon Age Veilguard on PS Plus already, probably means it's right around the corner for Game Pass too, March makes sense, no major Xbox 1st party releasing in March and only Atomfall as the headliner so unlike February which had Avowed it's pretty open, well, I think Tony Hawk could release in March too but we'll see.

It's only been 4 months. EA don't release their games that early into EA Play.

I think it's at least 6 months but for the bigger games it's usually closer to ten months or even a year.

Yeah, it takes awhile for sure. I remember Jedi Survivor was a year, April 2024 after release in April 2023. Earliest I have seen was Madden 25 recently, hit Gamepass Ultimate/EA Play in February 2025 after releasing August 2024, about a week less than 6 months after it released. Should see Dragon Age on EA Play/Gamepass Ultimate around late April/early May at the earliest since it released late October, and it could take as much as a year.

I truly hate this.

Hills, mountains, bayous, and swamps are just a few of the environments across Prospero that you'll explore as Hazel when South of Midnight launches on April 8, 2025 (or April 3 if you're feeling a bit antsy).

Ima say it, controversial opinion but Fable actually looks good *gasps* … I think there’s very few universes that really capture that story book fantasy look quite as well as Shrek but this definitely has that fantasy story book filter. Now only if the main character didn’t look like the logo of SweetBaby Inc and boy would I be really excited for this.

Is there no character customization?

We don't know yet, they have only ever featured a single main character design in all 3 gameplay/in-engine trailers to date and have yet to give us any details about how character creation or character evolution will work.

2023

2024

2025

Hopefully there is character creation because quite alot of gamers aren't really a fan of this design at all, myself among them.

There were no options in the first Fable, but you could choose your gender in Fable 2 and 3. I would be pretty surprised if you couldn't at least do that in the new game lol

Oh I was under the impression the series did have character customization.

I guess I should start playing Fable lol.

There is also the issue of character morphing, will it be back? It was a major feature in the original trilogy, with your character changing in appearance based on their moral alignment as well as their levels in physique, skill, and will, and gaining weight based on how much you ate. I think Fable 3 had the best morphing system in the series, Fable 2 took morphing too far, if you were playing a female main character and decided to use her in melee combat, she would eventually evolve to look like Miss Trunchbull or something, lol. Fable 3 toned down the size increases from physique leveling to a reasonable level, and also additionally added primal morphing alongside the morality morphing.

You don't get full creation, but there is some customization in 2 and 3 at least. You can buy new clothing, get new haircuts, get tattoos. You can technically customize your weight by eating more or less, customize your height by either leveling or not levelling skill (ranged combat), customize your musculature by either levelling or not levelling physique (melee combat). But Fable never had a full character creator where you could change facial features.
