3 days to go till Avowed. Hope more studios allow pay2play early for their games, letting me spend more money on something to get it earlier is the most pro consumer move they’ve done in years.

Unlocked Dark matter on COD Blacks ops 6, feels good =p.

Also Avowed is doing well, went from top 80 top sellers to 51 on steam, also has more followers than games like FF VII rebirth.

I don't think you pay more to get it early, though. They just release the normal version later as they otherwise could lol. But yeah, it's not really harming anyone to get it some days later as long as they don't let themselves spoil the game from videos or streams. 

I loved Indiana Jones to death, but man did MachineGames add the most monotonous collectibles I've experienced in a long time

It doesn't help that the map system is terrible if a collectible is underground. There's no indication as to what underground area you're supposed to be in, and when you are, you better hope it's the right one because the game will not tell you what underground area you're supposed to be in since each area has its own map.

About 34 hours sounds about right. I'm at 29 hours now and finishing up the last collectibles in Sukhotai, but at least half of that total playtime will be hunting down collectibles, and it just makes the game feel so much longer because of it. I definitely don't recommend being passive with the collectibles during your playthrough. Look up a collectible guide if you need to so you can get everything through a single playthrough lol.

Avowed game size is about 74 GB.

For comparison: The Outer Worlds is 54 GB, Grounded is 12 GB.

I know I've seen the occasional post online about Avowed marketing here and there, but I've been getting a LOT of consistent Avowed marketing ads over this past weekend starting on Friday. Whether opening Reddit, YouTube videos, just turning the TV on, or even on Instagram lol, I'm lowkey getting infested with Avowed ads!

This has to be the most Xbox marketing I've seen an upcoming game since Starfield.

I don't agree with the 2 week blitz of marketing though. I'm guessing in such an online-centric environment these days, Xbox may be betting more on rapid sharing of ads than traditional word of mouth, but it's whatevs. I'm just glad Obsidian seems to be getting more of a marketing budget than most others have at this point.

Despite several heretics lol, glad to see many excited for Avowed! Can't believe the day is finally gonna be here after nearly 5 years!
