Koei Tecmo lol. Ninja Gaiden 4 lists Xbox Game Studios as the publisher though.

Fuck, sorry. I accidentally clicked the F in the poll. I would have given it an A.

First Half
1. February - Avowed (Confirmed)
2. April - South of Midnight (Confirmed)
3. May - Doom: The Dark Ages (Confirmed)
Is this one of Xbox's strongest first half's ever on paper?
Does it become that if Oblivion Remaster makes it?
4. June - The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster (Heavily Rumoured)
Second Half
5. The Outer Worlds 2
6. Fable
7. Ninja Gaiden 4
8. Call of Duty
Towerborne is somewhere and Gears E-Day is rumoured but I refuse to list that, Lol.
Also the 2nd half of January Game Pass is amazing, Lol.
Add on Atomfall and Football Manager 25 in March (Both Day One GP).
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in April (Day One GP)
Probably a few I'm forgetting about and/or will make first half too but these are the major ones.
Now I'm really excited to see the direct. Xbox is really hitting it out of the park this year with games.
Nate: "With NG4 being Xbox published, the 10 game figure is now more likely -- even in the event Gears EDay isn't a 2025 release"
Tom Henderson was teasing an extra announcement which didn't pan out, he clarified that he has heard about Final Fantasy and Gears but "maybe we'll get those announcements soon" so even though he was wrong about them being at the Direct, he believes they're still happening.
He also said the Gears he had heard about was a remaster.
That Gears remaster rumour just won't die, Lol. I refuse to play Gears UE unless Gears 2/3 are remastered though. If I'm going to play the series again I want to do it all updated. Though I wonder if the rumours about Gears E-Day in 25 and Gears Remaster in 25 are maybe being confused? Maybe someone hears Gears is releasing in 2025 and confuses it with Gears E-Day when it's actually only Gears Remaster, Idk. There's no way there's a Gears Remaster and Gears E-Day in the same year, Xbox would need to chill the fuck out, Lol.

What are good sales for a game which releases only on PC and Xbox consoles where you can also play it on Gamepass? Do you have any number to talk about or is it just one of these feelings where you have no idea how high the sales should be to call it a success? And most Steam players are pretty much people who like to play either hardcore singleplayer games or multiplayer games. Sony's singleplayer games also don't destroy the Steam charts and that's without a Playstation subscription service on PC. |
Well fact is highest peak for the game was 12kish compared to 330k for Starfield that also was on gamepass the gap is huge, also steamspy says the sales are around 10 times less than Starfield.
Based on the max sales indy revenue was around 20 million (compared to starfield 250 million on steam but ok that was after 4 months).
If we extrapolate what we know about the NPD 5.8 billion total spending for the month on video game content we can expect the top 5 to have each hundreds of millions of revenue but how lower we go how less. On 14th place probably not reached 100 million in revenue (and thats with steam included).
The rest of world hardly buys xbox consoles so I don't really expect high numbers.
So to answer your question I think good sales can depend on many factors but the base is 'made more money than the cost' and knowing that Disney also ask for a cost I don't see it being profitable yet. And I will say it again, the game deserved better sales atleast I hope it pushes gamepass numbers a lot.
